Especially hats off to the manager Moriyasu. Actually, he was criticized by many Japanese fans before the World Cup but he has proven his management has been right by beating Germany and Spain. Truly amazing.

@@Angel333xx Nobody knows as much as the manager but it doesn’t mean they’re immune to criticism If Scaloni had Messi as a super sub instead of a starter, would people complain? Obviously Moriyasu’s strategy of starting the best players on the bench is an awful idea. Tomiyasu & mitoma are probably the two best players on that team. Tomiyasu started a game once, mitoma none. Also he left kyogo and Hatate at home, both of whom deserved a call up. You’ve probably never heard of them either, just like everyone else praising the manager

As a Croatian that's been to Japan, I can only say sorry we kicked you out. Your team and people/supporters were truly a great, and respectful opponent (as always). If it wasn't us I'd have wished you to go further in this World Cup but unfortunately that's not the case. Be proud of your team. Love you forever Japan

Japan won my heart a long time ago when i met 100 year old Japanese citizen at a local hospital. She was full of life and i felt very happy and she held my hand and asked me questions .The few Japanese people i met in my life were full of love and respect.I hope i can get to meet more of them in my lifetime.

Japan, I'll miss your game a lot. Great teamwork, velocity, fairness, courage, without big stars who get all the spotlight. And you defeated teams with a deep history in football. You played equally well with the finalist of the previous world cup. Many, many congrats and I hope to see you again. The tournament is worth watching thanks to teams like yours. It was Subašić who saved penalties on two occasions against Denmark and Russia last World Cup in 2018, Pletikosa last world cup was in Brazil 2014 and he wasn't involved in any wc shootouts because we didn't pass group stage at world cup since 1998 until 2018. Congratulations Japan, big achievements beating Germany and Spain, in other case i would be rooting for you against some other european team and you played well, not allowing us creating our game in midfield and constantly guarding our players. クロアチア強かった…… 日本相手でも有効な策を講じて挑んできた とても悔しいけど、本気のクロアチアとの勝負が見れたのは嬉しかった 日本と戦った国はいいチームが多かったな そもそも今回の大会は、みんなクリーンだ ありがとうございました
