I agree . Vyacheslav is the only pianist i know who plays 10 Fugues from J.S.Bachs complex "Art of Fugue" (with own completion of the last fugue!...:)) and the whole Chopin-Etudes op.10+25 in one concert - obviously his goal's beyond...

He's mephisto walz is truly convincing. I have so much to learn from his piano playing and interpretations.

Was this really back in 2004? You would've been only 22 at the time. The skill you possessed even then, playing Liszt and playing it so well nonetheless! Simply amazing and crazy at the same time :D

Franz's third finger to all seventeen of Frederic's feminine-laced waltzes. Made by young Vyacheslav with almost inhuman precision, cartoonish speed and rich dynamics. I would not be surprised if I learned that F. Liszt himself, having heard Gryaznov’s performance, would have said: Damn, this is not bad, not bad at all. It's time for the old womanizer to retire. Or join some monastery. Or both.
