They dated for a few years during the show, then split for a bit, then got back together. I think in total they dated like 4 years (and were the longest relationship amongst the cast members).

@Edward89 I think he really doesn't care about the color of one's skin. I think, for him, it is the connection and that is what he and Lark had and will always have.

Color really shouldn't matter. Dating someone because of their race is so wrong. They just liked each other's personalities and had great chemistry. Color has nothing to do with it.
