Out all the kisses he had on Saved By The Bell you could tell he enjoyed Lisas the most

I think he didn't speak on his three year relationship with Lark because he knows she's dealing with mental health issues. Lark is mentally stuck as Lisa Turtle. Watch her Dr.Oz episode, She still refers to herself as Lisa. Something tells me she was happiest on that show dating Mark. Slowly she's moved away from the spotlight. I will always support Ms Voorhies

I myself also deal mental health issues and all lark has to do is take her medication. She identified herself as her characters name ok I saw mark paul do the same thing on one of those late night talk shows where he refers to himself as zack Morris. All of the actors will forever be linked to their characters, and Latk is no different because she suffers from mental health issues.

People put so much emphasis on romantic love & it's nice to see someone who sees the value in friendly love.

As much as I missed the 80's and 90's it sucks that child actors and even child musical artists back then got screwed over either by their agents because their parents didn't know any better or by their parents themselves for being too greedy.

The writers are way more important.Look at any show that was considered good and got bad like that 70s show.Fez/Fes was way funnier in the beginning of the show and he was way less funny at the end and it had nothing to do with Wilmer Valderramas acting ability.

I thought I was overanalysing it at the time but turns out the chemistry was for real. I didn't see the same kind of chemistry between Zack and Kelly even though that was the key relationship of SBTB.

I do wonder if there were a huge squabble involving Mark and suddenly the tension were broken with either a doorbell, phone or some sort of ringing, whether Mark would be like *_"DON'T..._* _Don't you dare even think about f**kin' say it...!"_

$5K x 30 episodes = $150,000 in 1990 ($330,000 today). Not big money in current dollars, but considering an average LA County home at the time was $212,000, that gives you an idea of the Purchasing Power the dollar had (today's dollar only buys .41 of what it bought back then). Even if his Net Take was 30% of gross, that $4k per month income (at the time) went plenty far while building a career. Not meant to sound like it was easy, but even low hollywood money at the time allowed you to avoid living on the streets.

Yep I was making the math too … he got paid really good money and if he got paid like he said 0.13 per rerun that still ran strong for a long time he probably got a couple hundred thousand from that too

LOL - the best thing is "4 MPG" probably comes across way different today than it did back then.

Still shocked that Jeff Probst is the stepdad to his children and that they coparent together.

I remember we were over at 20th Century Fox Studios shooting "NYPD Blue" and everyone kept tripping over a storm grate on the New York exterior sets. I said something to the second A.D., but no one put up safety cones; and then the unthinkable happened. Mark tripped and scrapped his knee. It was awful and totally preventable. But he shook it off and kept working, after a brief visit with the set medic. Always the professional.

The point wasn't that it isn't a decent amount of money, but that given the revenue they generate, that is pretty low. As Harry Shearer noted, they both get overpaid and get screwed.

Guess he's not getting anything for the new Saved by the Bell/Zack Hallmark Ornament out this year.

$5,000 back in those days is like $11,000 now .. if it ran for 86 episodes just on original sbtb he made close to half a million … plus the movie and the college years … I’m sure they re-negotiated a couple of times and got more by then en with the success

He's worked in Hollywood for 30 years. It adds up. Honestly with how big Saved By The Bell is he should be worth far more money. I remember being in middle school in like 04 and that show would re-run when I was getting ready for school and right before I went to bed. He got screwed out of millions of dollars.

5k an episode not alot you kidding in 80s & early 90s when bell was made that was a hell of alot of money to be earning.

5k and episode, not 5k a week. Saved by the Bell (the OG series) has only 86 episodes. That’s slightly over 400 k for the ENTIRE series. And again that doesn’t include money taken out by agents and other fees. Compare that to most of your other popular shows where actors were getting close to or over 1 million per season. It’s a pretty big difference

I'm not mad that he's not friends with the cast. But it's annoying that he always lies about so wish people would stop asking. It so obvious they all agreed to the reboot for the money and that's fine but they were coworkers that didn't like each other and honesty if he was dating all the lead actress I can see why none of them wanted to stay in touch

Passed away of cancer. Diagnosed and a month later he went from the earth. Really sad that he never got closure with all cast members. Elizabeth Berkeley really held a grudge. Hence he wasn't asked to do the reboot. People were pissed because let's face it screech made the show such a hit. After he died they added a tribute scene in season 2. Horribly done tbh

He says ONLY $5,000 a week .. $11,000 in todays value… just make the math he was they had 86 episodes on just saved not counting the college years and the movie … so yeah he got paid like close to if not over a million just on those original 4 seasons You didn’t get “screwed”
