The reboot didn’t do well at all. But, they did include her in the credits. So, let’s go watch some “Saved by the Bell Reboot” so she can get some royalties! I have immune disorder issues and it took me 15 years to be duly diagnosed and I am FINALLY in the up and up, but, I’m 45 and struggle w employment discrimination due to my disability. I felt EVERY minute of her interview. But, I can still communicate adequately. The show would’ve sucked without her and the reboot sucked without her💔. But, if she’s credited, then I’ll watch all two seasons of it. Lol

I admire her and how she is embracing her mental health and was able to bring awareness

Very emotional interview. It's very sad but I'm glad she finally decided to speak up. We tend to blame everything on drugs/addictions and don't talk enough about mental illnesses and how it affects people's life especially in the Black community. It's good to see that she has all the support she needs and is on her way to recovery.

Lark, if you see this I’m rooting for you. I have anxiety and depression and some days are harder than others. ❤

I'm so thankful people are willing to come forth to share their struggles with mental illness. My heart breaks remembering my deceased father being diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. We didn't know how to help him, because we didn't understand he needed help. He was such a great dad and then something changed. All of a sudden it felt like he just became hateful and mean, which separated him from our family for years. He told me on his death bed he lived a life lonely and afraid.

Mental illness should not be hidden. People should be able to speak about this bravely. It's difficult because society deems mental illness as if it's a curse or an embarrassment. Life gives us all different vicissitudes. We as humans need to be more embracing and less judgemental. It's difficult having to hide the difficulties one is experiencing and having to wear two masks.

Growing up in the 90s, I always had a huge crush on all the female cast of saved by the bell. But I havent been aware of the latest news of the cast and had no idea what challenges Lark Voorhies had faced and had to overcome. I know with these type of mental diseases, sometimes the full veracity of the symptoms are unleashed well into adulthood. I’m glad to see her doing well and carrying herself with such dignity. She’s an inspiration.

Don’t understand why her mom didn’t give her props for how hard she’s working and what she’s going through. All props to the doc but none to Lark. That hurt to watch.
