    I always thought the best part was the Huey, Cyndi and Kim verse. I’m 59 and remember this being done at the time. I think the theme was Leave Your Ego At The Door. Then the video came out and everyone was simply stunned. It was a special moment in time. The 80’s were the best.

    I remember the World Premiere of We Are The World. I was 10. It was such an AMAZING time for music. I was a HUGE fan of the song. As soon as the documentary dropped on Netflix; I was watching. There were times I had a huge smile on my face and tears running down my cheeks. Lionel is an ICON!

    The song is amazing. Played world wide when I was in the 8th grade. Been listening to it for the past day after watching the Netflix documentary. Also discovered the remakes for Haiti.     Lionel Richie, my crush when I was in my twenties. I watched the making of the song and man Huey Lewis and Darryl Hall were having a really difficult time singing. Ugh! Cindi Lauper was between Huey Lewis & I think Darryl Hall (poor girl) as he struggled to hit the notes. Watching Steve Perry's face was gold. There were a few performers that I question how they got where they got in life. After about 4 maybe 5 takes it was acceptable.
