元気に歌っているだけで、それだけでワンダフルでファンタスティックな事だ。 Just singing cheerfully is a Wonderful and Fantastic thing in itself.

Die Version von Faith No More ist mein Favorit. Die Version hier ist leider nix. Sorry Lionel & Dave 😎

Ist das ironisch gemeint? Lionel hat den Song geschrieben und ihn schon Jahre vor Faith No More mit den Commodores aufgenommen.

I love Mike Patton, but I don't think he would have shown up for this. Plus, this is originally a song by Lionel Richie and the Commodores. FNM's version is very close to the original version except for some of Mike's vocal style thrown in.

@@Theamazingme952, my guess would be that castle had a problem with it not sounding much like the record. Live versions from 45 years after after the studio versions usually don’t sound too much like the record.

A HOT MESS!!! These old singers need to pass the reign

I agree. Very few old singers seem to recognize when they’ve lost it. It happened to Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney and Ax’l Rose. Fortunately, Mick Jagger hasn’t lost it yet and Robert Plant changed what and how he sings to match his range.

Unfortunate they had Dave's guitar turned down so much. You can barely hear the solo.

  • @anonymous____6841

I think it’s more like they’ve performed their song a million times and just grew tired of the original arrangement. The issue is not the vocal ability as they could’ve lowered the key iykwim. He butchered his song because of the way he sang it 😅 I still ❤ lionel richie tho

What a waste of Dave Grohl’s talents. It’s ironic that in a song called easy the guitar solo is on the level of amateur at best no matter who plays it.

It’s not a waste if he enjoyed himself. That’s all anybody seems to care about is showing out to the fullest extent. If he didn’t want to, he wouldn’t have done it. I’m sure you didn’t expect him to be doing this when it popped up.

Every solo doesn't have to be blistering. This solo stands out a whole lot more than any Yngwe Malmsteen or any other guitar virtuoso.

That’s because the best performers in the 70’s were players and understood their contribution to the whole of the song, James Taylor had some great players as well. McClary could have easily performed a major guitar wank solo to bring the attention to himself but showed the restraint and understanding of the composition to write a solo that added just enough to the song to give it room to breathe.
