"Worshipping" is THE problem. To have your football hero you admire on & off the pitch is one thing. But "worship?!" This constant messiah- like adoration for Messi creeps me out. Seems a cult of personality.

Messi is kind… he never runs away from those pitch invaders even though for most public figures the first instinct would be to do so… I’m actually shocked that he is so calm

I almost cry, when I see him contribute back to the society. He is one of nicest people in the world love by children and adults. He married his childhood friend. God bless Messi for being a nicest human on earth.

He makes lots of money for playing, of course, but it's obvious that he plays for the love of the game, first and foremost.

This is what makes him really great..this is what we want to see from them..Now we can say they are real heroes👍👍

My son in 13th and since I introduced the game to him when he was 4 he always loved Messi, the greatest aspiration for children. Integrity, perseverance, humbleness, values that celebrity today rarely have them all in concert.

Very few people call my attention, I admire how humble it's Messi , he is the greatest of all but so unique full of good energy , humble, loving. He truly loves playing football and respects and cares for his fans.

What an incredible person, I have never seen any supper star no mettar what their profession, to be as humble and just supper nice without hypocrisy, Messi was happy in every one of incounteres he had from the smallest child up to the adults. Always smiling and giving hugs and kisses, what a model of humility he is. Puts to shame so many other superstars, who do not exhibit much humility if any. You can tell Messi loves it, when he brings happiness in other people's lives. So refreshing to see truly someone we can all learn from how to be nice even to people we don't know at all. First a human being. Then a footballer. Those kids may never be great footballers. But they'll be great human beings. That's the power of hope he brings to the world.

He is not only a great player but also a great person, even hollywood stars that has nothing to do with football, celebrated him lifting the World Cup, I don't think it's coincidence.
