My favorite part of his game and the reason why he will always be my favorite player. I really don’t get those people who say he’s only good in Barcelona’s system, booooy HE IS THE SYSTEM. I mean seriously how could they not see that? The guy is a creator, he does not need to score goals to contribute. He has the ability to lure and break defenses to produce openings for his teammates. He sees plays two steps ahead and makes the appropriate pass. Put him on any team and he improves that teams offense and midfield stability exponentially, because he can drop deeper and hold the ball, make plays, run the wings, cross it in, or run it himself.

Hmmm , i don't really knows For all his career but in an Article by Squawka In October 2020, They calculated that Messi created 1019 chances in Barcelona since he started. "Only" in Barcelona. If they calculated for his national team too then of course it'll be a Higher number... For extra info, the second was xavi with 662 chances created for Barcelona.
