The only reason he should sing Chester's part is if he was replacing him permanently in the band which 1. they would never ask him and 2. he would never try to do because chester's voice is incredibly unique. and also this is 2017 when mgk was only just starting to lean in to singing and not just rap.

Chester's background vocal behind the heavy instrument, barely able to hear, is hitting me so hard in a different way. Really miss him.

Chester will never be replaced. I wanted to hate it but wasn't bad. Mike singing the alone at the end was heartbreaking.

After hearing Glass House by MGK you can tell he really appreciated and looked up to Chester.

I almost cried when it goes "The sun~~~" at 2:33 because I know this is Chester's singing part. I miss you so much everyday, Chester. Only your voice can heal all the pains.

So back when they were still Xero and Mark Wakefield was still the vocalist, right? The OGest of OG fans I may say.

Compared to most of the others, MGK did his homework for the song he was supposed to sing. Respect

Linkin Park was my favorite band for a long time as a kid. Rock-rap is such an extremely underrated genre and I wish there were more bands like them. Gorillas is another great rock-rap band.

mad respect for MGK he really save me after Chester died. Since I hear his numb cover, I started liking his music because he was affected same like me when we lost Chester and his rap music has some bad ass feels it really help me get through some shit. He dropped Tickets To My Downfall album now! it's really great and surprising watching the guy evolved into punk damn remind me of Linkin Park's genre flexibility. Mgk loves LP he mention chester in his song and even in his music videos, love them both I miss chester and mgk is 🔥🤘

watched him live twice now, probably one of the best performers of our generation and his band is super talented

Having heard so many live versions and knowing how Chester would go off in the back vocals, it sounds painfully empty. (Not criticizing, MGK did really good, it's just emotional)

i just became a fan of machine gun kelly, and in his song ''27'', saw chester in the music video, and I went ''no f*cking way''. So I searched Machine gun kelly linkin park, and this guy did a show with my all time favorite band. I just became a bigger fan of him. So cool!

It remember hearing In the End on the TV as a kid thinking it was such a cool song. Would get excited everytime I heard it. It wouldn’t be until I actually got into music and would listen to MTV music videos and came across LP again in Somewhere I belong. I was just excited to be listening to LP. Later I finally got a hold of the entire album Hybrid Theory, and when Papercut played, I knew I would be a lifelong LP fan.

Thank you for sharing your story. For me I had a portable radio I got from a thrift shop. I was in the back of my parent's truck listening on my headphones. I heard Papercut on the radio. On my first listen it was true love. I have never stopped enjoying the Hybrid Theory album, long after I tired of everything else from that time.

Therefore, in some of the lyrics of this song, Chester always has fantasies/delusions about "Face" which makes him afraid
