I also got interested in his playing on guitar immediatly I saw MGK first time. I saw more live clips, and Im really concerned about his playing. Acoustic do not match the sounds.. And even his playing on electric guitar is out way massively. You can see, that he plays same Tabs in more of his songs. I think he is doing this for effect. Just my opinion. Prove me wrong if u can

Bro most concerts, like Ariana grande, the weekend, dua lipa, (basically anyone big these days) has backing tracks to help them out because the harmonies on the studio version are usually sung by the artist as well. Translating that live is hard to do for one person so they use backing tracks to take care of the harmonies. It’s also super fucking hard to sing to your best ability for 2 hrs straight without a break. Doing that is like power lifting without giving your muclses time to regain their strength (you’d kill yourself like that) so they use backing tracks to help their voice out and not strain their muscles.

Sure you can have harmonies as backing tracks but, I just saw a jxdn one where he barely sang anything and it was all backing tracks.. what you re saying is these people are studio artists not actual performers. if you sing with the backing track harmonies its fine. if you rely on the entire track being played in the background to perform the song then its a failure in musicianship. yes, I sing and play in bands and i know its taxing but its also more genuine to perform the song.
