Chino's good and all but everything Mike Shinoda touches turns to Gold if not Platinum. Even said it in one of his songs

chino is simply one of the best singers on the scene. He always manages to make everything ethereal, atmospheric and heavenly with his voice, and even when he screams he manages to give the right aggressive but at the same time angelic atmosphere.

So my goal now is to become my own hero, somebody I can believe in. Now I'm reading about you donating to charity. I'm relistening to all the stuff you put out solo these last couple of years. Wow. I always postponed getting back into gaming because 'it's probably not worth my time', or so I thought. Darth Anakin deftones have been my favorite band since their introduction. I'm a 40 yr old man and Chinos voice gives me chills on so many of their songs. I was crushed when Chi passed and I'm sorry to say that Sergio will never compare to Chi! I actually started playing Bass because of Chi. Played in a band for a few years too. I'm sorry for chester. I grew up listening to him, and linkin park is one of my favourite bands of all time. However, it would have been cool if MGK got to go on tour with them.. to him that would have been a great chance.

You’re both partially right had a entire tour planned that went down the drain when Chester took a swing(not to be crude big LP fan) but the US leg never happened after Kells came off his most successful album to date an was super hyped to play with these boys that shit went down an so did the hopes of Kells becoming a house hold name soon though my boy ain’t done yet EST 4 life XX

It's angelic hooks like this that make me wonder why more artists didn't reach out to Chino for songs. His voice is like no other.

To be honest, Here we go... i found linkin Park in hs back in 99-00-01... hybrid theory became my diary... while enjoying the linkin Park created, they spoke for my pain, my inner thoughts... hearing of Chester's tragic passing, broke me in a way, i couldnt hear the screaming angel anymore... Mike has always helped heal the scars with lyrics... 2020 has been tough, lose my father to cancer 2 weeks after auper bowl, 2 friends who ive known over 10 years... then my moms happiness, her husband passed from cancer... while tears flow down my face, I say thank you and love you Mike... for expressing my pain...

This marks the 4 year anniversary for this song.

Chester is one of the greatest singers of all time. Period. He has this triple layered voice, this higher then normal pitched voice we all love. He can go from a great ballad to an amazing metalsong or he can still perform a ballad like Rolling in the deep by adele(Would love to see you react to that) after more then 1 hour of screaming and scringing and singing! Like how?. Sing like an angel and scream like a beast! I love how you find all the early stuff you listened (except One More light which was a recent song) to already different from eachother as Linkin Park goes way different further into their career. They never stoped expirimenting, and thats where mostly Mike Shinoda comes in, he is a mastermind, a workaholic, an Emcee, guitarist, vocalist.. You name it! He wrote a big majority of Linkin Park's stuff. Ofcourse Chester has some lyric credits but Mike man, He has it all too.

Kingethan12 agree, its definitely true, they've come from a great place of passion for music, for the lyrics, for writing what they love, for being different and unique, and it's exactly what this song and debut album represent, and to me is top notch music all the way, I've been hearing all the songs from Post Traumatic and I was thinking that Mike could be a great successor to Chester as the main vocalist for Linkin Park, is a certain different tonality but the vibe and energy from Mike's music really does line up to what Linkin Park is, and I think he would do great as the main vocalist, just thinking

Unfortunately some big name like Drake will win because he's so well known. This album definitely deserves some kind of award though.

When I first read the title of the track and found that there were Chino Moreno and Machine Gun Kelly, I had no doubt this track would be amazing. And so it is! Great work!

It's so hard to resist anything to do with Linkin Park, and I do resist because they helped me through my childhood. It's that sort of feeling that you have something, them, because they filled the void in us. Yes we had you Chester and Linkin Park, and now we don't, it's not the same without him. Damn we miss you Chester, it's a hurt we can never feel the same with anything or anyone else. So when i give in, it's like time freezes and i once again feel the hole where Chester is meant to be and it makes me want to just go out in the rain, drop to my knees and cry out. It's unbearable. Thumbs up for Chino, I always wanted Linkin Park and Chino to make these amazing tunes together. Though it would've been better if Chester was still with us.RIP. Chino's singing just makes you feel like you're floating with stars and beautiful light all around, and you think, aaaah....it's pure heaven. When I look at you now Mike, it's like you've lost something in you. We are all with you :)
