A good little way to conditon folk i use is to use is 1,D2 then low check with d3,4(dont toss the 4 if they block) or 1+2 to mid check This guide is very good to info to have for any beginner

I play her for her evasiveness so I usually go into her stances manual to evade attacks then change stances according to where I catch my opponent vulnerable

As far as I've seen, hypnotist has much, much, much more use in T8. You can change into Hyp from many more moves now, jabs and backturned jabs included, the low kick from Hyp works really well as a surprise during pressure, and Hyp 3+4 is a central fillers on most Xiaoyu staple combos.

Started playing Yoshi because Lei Wulong isn't in the game, just tried her on a whim and my god does she hit the same spot as him lol

Well.. I decided to use Xiaoyu specifically because I bought the skin for her. Never used her in any Tekken game, and don't know combos. I just basically use three moves and it got me to Garyu. I'm tired of beating my head against the wall and will now properly learn this character... u/f 3+4, D/B+4, and f+1+2, in case anyone's curious. Sometimes, I'd stick to one move the entire round. then switch to one of the others for a different round. I don't know Xiaoyu from Julia, tbh. I was never a fan of either design in any game.

Standing 3 in T7 was punishable

I use ling all the time she's fast and so great to use once you get comfortable with her
