Police are waay more prepared for stuff like that thats why when they say shots fired on radio ALL police untis and SWAT are responding and plus so many inaccuracies in this real life that guy would have been shot and killed pretty fast by police it don't matter how well trained you are military wise when the numbers gain its over

I partially agree with you. I believe that most of the Gunfight Scenes in HEAT, and quite a bit of the Combat in Saving Private Ryan were well done. I would add the TV series Band of Brothers, and the movies: Sicario, Blackhawk Down, American Sniper, We Were Soldiers, Zero Dark Thirty, The Veteran, The Kingdom, and two older movies "The FBI Murders" (about the gunfight on the streets of a Miami suburb between 2 Bank Robbers and 10 FBI Agents that resulted in the selection of the 10mm pistol; then development of the .40 caliber S&W cartridge. Also, "44 Minutes The West Hollywood Bank Robbery" that fairly accurately depicts the Thousands of rounds fired, nearly 20 Wounded (LEO & Civilians), and 2 Dead Bank Robbers). There is also a Danish movie about the WWII invasion of Denmark that is a very good depiction of a small unit action. Sadly, less than 1 in a 100 movies have even a decent depiction of combat or gunfights in them.

I'm rather bothered that the cop decided to take cover behind an occupied vehicle; he's just putting those civilians in more danger than they already are. If that terrorist's whole intent is to kill the officer, then he should draw his fire away. Also, is it just me or is that carbine the terrorist using sounds a bit more like an SMG?

In real life the chopper would have pulled way back and just provided spotting. It would CERTAINLY not have been using a PA system.

The only thing accurate about this situation is that she keeps on filming herself even when she was being shot at. That the only thing that really happens in real life.

Dude had 4 mags, 1 in the gun and 3 on his plates. Unless he had a mag in each pocket. So let's say 8 total. That's 240 rds, the rate he's been firing, he's been out...for a while.

Yeah, except cops don't just spray automatic fire all over the place, they have to be accountable for every shot. Also, I'm pretty sure that virtually all patrol rifles in police cars are AR-15s, that is to say semi auto only.

Some rural Sheriffs Departments have semi-auto AR-15s. Post September 11th 2001, most Police Departments have M-4A1 carbines with either "3 round burst" or even full auto, and similar M16A2s or M16A4s, or as with the MC here H&K MP5 submachineguns. You are correct that LEO are accountable for ALL of the rounds they fire. Usually, LEO are more disciplined, however, I can recall a couple of incidents when cops did fire indiscriminately. Several of those officers did get Prosecuted Because they Violated Training, Regulations, and Laws!

A lot of P.D.s have at least 3 round burst or full auto weapons! Some, do carry just standard semi auto but quite a few do have auto or 3 round burst.
