This was one of the greatest, underrated shows to come out of the golden era of TV. The way they managed to do a deconstruction of the Batman character via Finch and Reese (ones the intelligent billionaire, the others the superhero figure), set in a cop drama in a Gotham-style city with Game of Thrones level character plots and world building, and the overarching AI theme, makes this one of the greatest works of film in my opinion. The finch/Reese and finch/nathan arcs over the first 2 seasons, then root and shaw, and ultimately the machine, and the the cautionary tale about AI throughout the whole show set it apart from the average series. This show had a vision, a purpose, and a message.

Not just the script, the plot, the characters, the actors, even the music is so awesome it gives me chill every time. Saw many action thriller TV show & movies. No matter how many days past. Person of Interest will be remembered. Its Epic. Yes Jim Caviezel did absolute justice to John Reese Character. Its like what RDJ is to Tony Stark, they feel one person with two different names, similarly John Reese feels Jim, no Jim feels John, wait both are same.

true, body armor still hurts like a bastard. The brunt fore alone sends you back. Its something they never really do right on shows, having the wearer tank it. If this was real, the second bullet would of sent him to the ground. Remember the vest has plates in it, a bullet hitting them would shunt the metal plates into his chest. Winding him at best, and maybe allowing a inch of the bullet or bent plates into his skin at worst.

@@Toasty_-jx6zk The .50 bmg is a round commonly used in heavy machine guns, hits hard and travels fast. In the terms of a sniper rifle, (shown in the scene where he shoots the Mercedes) a single bullet would be capable of disabling the engine, in most applications they are used to disable military vehicles such as humvees, or jeeps. Usually a waste on human targets, but it has massive killing potential. Sorry for the small essay.

Reese (or Jim himself) is a left hander and most likely has a dominant left eye and shoots most of the time from his left shoulder or with his left hand with pistols, both eyes open as you are supposed but the few times he shoulders a rifle on his right side he closes his left eye (0:39)
