One thing we can all learn to do just by watching Lil Nas X is get better at backing ourselves more, he's very confident and believes strongly in his abilities, it didn't matter to him that people said he would be a one hit wonder, he believed he would continue to have success and he has. How good would it be if we all can replicate that in our own lives

I actually identify with what Nas said, like I can be in a relationship but also go a while without being together because I like time to myself and the things I enjoy and I feel like more people should be more understanding of the people who do feel that way because there's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to spend time alone even in relationships as long as there's love and trust it can work out.

Dolly is the 🐐 and her story and personality is pretty amazing if you don’t know about who she is. I was really surprised when I streamed the album and noticed how solemn and vulnerable the lyrics were. I was expecting explicit lyrics and raunchy stuff but the album is so wholesome. This guy is a genius artist
He would be a hard person to interview. He doesn’t ever go into detail. It’s like everything is somewhat a joke to him. Which honestly… is kinda true. He’s a sick artist though, I think his thoughts and feelings come out way better in a song though.

Great interview! Love that guy! #Montero 💖
Bro I did not know that was his dad!! It was amazing. I love this song.
the relationship thing is soooo relatable
tbh it's actually very relatable. i just want to be by myself all of the time but i also want love. when i'm with sb, they get all my time and emotions and attention but it's so draining even when everything is perfect, like in the honeymoon period. it doesn't matter how much i miss them, i need to be able to be on my own to recharge my batteries and process / overcome everything. this can go on for days or weeks. finding sb who is like that too would be ideal bc it can't work otherwise. but you also have to want it. lnx says he found the perfect lov(er) after being disappointed and heartbroken so many times but then wait it IS what i want but also NOT. it seems to me, however, than more than dedicating his time and responsibility and vulnerability on other things (like his music) and wanting to experience other things (which are all true and valid of course), he's backing off bc altho he wants them to be together and he still misses him, the bottom line is he's caught feelings, he doesn't want to get attached and he's protecting himself from getting hurt again. i hope that his wish for them to be together again (maybe) in the future will come true bc he'll have found a way to figure things out and a way to have it all. i wish that for him (and selfishly for us bc i loved them so much together) and that it will be filled with moments like 34:04 ~ 37:23 and 45:37
He's fun to watch because he has a great sense of humour and you can tell, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He LOVES that British accent! lol
