Mo's personality ain't one that intimidates people. She brings out the side of people that we love to see. She listens, she laughs, she make people laugh and just gets comfortable but not weird. She has hosting abilities the house down boots

When Monique got real for a second, I really felt it. I think a lot of us have so much we'd like to tell him or even thank him for. I'm glad Monique did on our behalf!

When she was telling him how happy everyone is for him and how good it feels to watch him be so free, I broke down. All people who are their authentic selves inspire others to be so. It's so beautiful.

Monique was such a great host. This was honestly one of the best interviews I've seen done with Lil Nas X. She understands him and is not trying to tokenize him. She's talking to a peer and a friend. I'm looking forward to the next couple of episodes!

She’s so blessed to have spoken with him...she probably felt like Cinderella and wanted her prince to take her with him

Exactly. Elton had to hide who he really was/ is in those crusty times of ignorance and extreme hate. I’m so happy to be living in this century because literally everyone ( except for racists/child molesters/ rapists/ animal abusers) are accepted. Life is such a beautiful and incredible journey and as a black woman from the Deep South, I’ve had many haters . Dark miserable souls .Yet somehow, my soulshine still shines because I let it.
