I feel like this song might be about a fwb situation or something where you recognise that the other person doesn't love you, but you're willing to accept anything from them due to some sort of childhood wounds. Musically it's a great album. It transcends genre race genre sexuality. I am exactly opposite of intended audience but I like the music. The flash and controversy is in line with any top Rockstar.
