Hot lap in the Ligier LMP3 at Road America during the 2022 WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman. My first sub 2:08 lap in a long time, not bad considering the tires are at 6 heat cycles!

THX John!!
Fantastic. Thanks for sharing, Tim. Question. Are there any blind spots?

Yes, after you come out of Turn 5 and up the hill/under the bridge the left hander T6 is blind until right before turn in, the bridge blocks your view. To a lesser extent once you're out of Canada corner /T12 it is a slightly blind as you turn up the hill into T13- but none of these are bad, fairly easy to manager.

@@tttday nice. Thanks for replying back, Tim.
For a minute I was thinking that I was watching WEC channel. Really close to TV broadcast with the opening. About the tire, How often do you swap out old tires for this car? It is crazy to think in some race, tires lasts this long for probably a season when in some other races tires are replaced mid race or every day.

Currently with this car you would plan to get 5-8 heat cycles, or sessions on the track with a set when racing/ running at the club/vintage race level. Each session being 20-35 minutes. Typically, you would like to qualify on new tires, then maybe run both races on that set. The last because they are endurance style tires. Those tires would become your practice set at the next track event. Its not an exact science, but you mangae tires as they are a big % of your cost to race. To do it correctly, it helps to have 3 sets of wheels.
