His voice, and this song is so uplifting

I played this in my car stuck in a traffic jam. The bloke at my side in the next lane asked me to turn up the volume. His female companion asked me to play it again when it ended. Wow, what a response to such an amazing track of a truly magnificent musician.

These sorts of songs NEVER grow old on me. I’ll probably still be listening to Lighthouse family even if I live to be 100.

I lost my mom 2 days ago. She had a chronic illness that she fought for 36 yrs. Whenever she was recovering from a surgery or a hard time she used to listen to this song. She was such a strong willed and positive person, but this song gave her immense hope and reminded her that there was always light at the end of the tunnel. Listening to this song this morning for the first time in years is now giving me the hope I need at this devastating time. ❤️

I can relate. I lost my dear mum 3 months ago. She too was a long time lover of Lighthouse Family and this song resonated with her a great deal. I have such fond memories of my childhood in the early 2000s, when me and mum would jam out to LF in the car during the summer. I miss her so much

The saying “wishing you could know you was in the good ol’ days before you’ve actually left them” is so true and this song reminds me of that time for me. It’s amazing how a song can take you back to a time and feelings and make you forget all your current troubles even if it’s for a short time. Music is so powerful is this is one of those songs ❤️

This song helped me and the staff working together through the pandemic lt lifted us up and helped us to cope and gave us hope 🙏
