Completely agree!!! I met Heather and the band at a basketball game, when I lived overseas, they were sitting right next to me... No pretence, no diva attitude, just a genuine, lovely lady!... They even refused to sit in the 'private box' they wanted to be in amongst the home team fans!!! ❤️❤️❤️

When they were active, the competition was pretty severe. There were literally hundreds of Euro bands with hit singles, every month. For years.

Core memory unlocked! We used to dance to this every week in my jazz class.

This song was playing on the dance floor in a local nightclub in 1993, when i had my first tongue sandwich (late bloomer, no confidence with girls). A pretty shy girl i had known briefly at Infants School and who had apparently held a torch for me for all those years. I was very drunk.

I`m 39 I caught this era I love it going to parties with my parents was the best time of my life in retrospect now my dad is very ill great 90s days.

This tune never gets old... Still sounds quality proper 90's number

This so reminds me of my husband, who passed away 2.5 years ago, M-people was his favourite band...it´s so hard, painful, yet happy to listen to this...

Awesome tune. A CLASSIC. So danceable. Always in my heart. I was starting to work as a gogo dancer and performer at discotheques right in 1994 and my nightlife career longed 20 years. I remember the first time I listened to this magical jewel. What a moving moment. What a voice and the whole melody. It stuck completely into my soul, forever. Congrats for this timeless work of art. And thank you for the beautiful video filmed in my Barcelona. I've watched this 1000 times and still counting. 💓💓💓

But you still can't forget that voice. She sings with such power & tenacity, warble & rasp (when live) yet still such clarity ! Up there with Franklin, Turner, Charles, Lennox, Detroit, Jones, Wonder, Brown, Knight & many more legenendary singers - love or hate them - in that you simply cannot ignore the voice. It's impossible for her to scrape into 50,000 as her voice stands out, even if you hate her voice, it invokes that reaction, making her voice a real talking point AND, apart from her & their musicianship & live performances, mpeople's usp

Well, when I say "many more singers" I mean just a few more, really. There aren't that many people whose voices REALLY REALLY stand out from those of billions of people, some of whom cannot sing, those who can sing but they sound like everybody else, those who don't sound like anyone else yet still there voice has little power. Small is definitely in possession of one of the most unique & interesting voices ever.

When I first heard this back in 93 I thought the lyric was "you take me up high with the flowers in the sky," which is quite psychedelic.
