Sadly Arabic stopped being an official language in Israel in 2018. That's a huge step backwards to me.

Much respect to him, an honourable man, knowledgable and open minded, not blinded by hate

This man is absolutely inspirational. So intelligent and strong.

One can tell he spoke directly from his heart, without guile or second thoughts ... it is a very heartwarming message to the world, especially to Musllims.

I have never met an Israeli arab-muslim who would rather live in a muslim nation... they enjoy the same rights, freedoms, prosperity, government representation and human dignity as any Israeli.

I had an Iranian-American best friend I grew up with in the usa who is bahi religion. I am jewish. Only in the usa do arabs get along with jews-----i thought, but i see i am wrong. After oct 7 people are chanting "gas the jews" in my own country, they want us dead. We are all humans and need each other and need to heal this problem of hate and the way to do that is to meet individuals. how can we all get along?? I heard it can be hard in Iran, I hope that's just a rumor...I wish you well, many blessings.

We've been prosecuted for so long and we are all the time blamed on stuff that we aren't even related with, but we should stay strong and united. There were already 125,500 Ethiopian Jews in Israel by 2011 mainly due to Israeli rescue efforts. You sure love to buy into propaganda lol. I’m an Israeli Jew. I work with Israeli Arabs, I meet Israel Arabs on the street and stores. Sometimes they help me and sometimes I help them. Just like any other person regardless of the religion or ethnic origin. I do think we need to give them more opportunities and resources. But I definitely care about them

Amos Yarkoni (Abd el-Majid Hidr) was a Bedouin Arab who served in the IDF with great distinction. There are many Bedouin Arabs who have made a name for themselves in Israel. The Palestinians should make peace with the government of Israel and move forward. There is much to gain for both the Israelis and the Palestinians if there is peace. Too many lives lost unnecessarily. The government of the UAE has taken a great step towards peace. Very soon the other Gulf Arabian states will follow suit. Hopefully

Of course you support your masters because you were born within their new Israeli borders and they had no choice but to integrate you into their society and treat you (almost) as an equal. We’re your home outside those borders you would not be living the life you are now. and your house would have probably been demolished or occupied by a Jewish Israeli family while you had to get up at 5am to travel through several checkpoints every day just to go to work! All this proves is that if Israel ceased the occupations and treated all Palestinians as they do the Arab Israelis like yourself inside their borders, they would all be as content as you and wouldn’t need to resist. You’re not fighting terrorism, you’re fighting your own oppressed, imprisoned and defenceless brothers and sisters and their innocent little children, so yes you are a hypocrite when you should be campaigning for their human rights, the same ones you so enjoy.

Yaelle I don’t ‘serve’ anyone and I have fought for peace my entire life. I already know the history, much from detailed memories of the last 40 years of occupation and oppression of Palestinians. You yourself used the word ‘fight’ , which to the oppressed is ‘resistance’. I don’t hate anyone but I might hate what they do, sometimes ‘fighting’ oppression requires the destruction of an unjust and inhumane system through non violent means such political pressure, education and action such as BDS. ‘Love’ has no room for oppression, apartheid practices, injustice or ignorance of a situation you either choose to ignore or pretend doesn’t exist.

I also have a number of Jewish friends who strongly support Palestine and are outraged by Israels policies in regard to the occupation and oppression of Palestinians. You are right, I am a black teenager living in Israel and I see racism often. Nut like the Arabs of course but the government does not enforce laws to prevent people with Prejudice opinions in the police or any organization that is funded by the government of Israel. But it's a problem that I believe would be gone in a few years even earlier with a new domestic leader in the country

What I don't understand is why there isn't an Arab Israeli party that isn't anti-Israeli and focuses instead on the Israeli Arabs and not the Palestinians cause? You guys are 20% of the country's population, with a party that has moderate and acceptable views I don't see a reason why you won't be able to have a much better impact on your lives, and even joining the coalitions, also breaking this taboo wall of none Arab parties on the coalition, and destroy the common view among some Israelis that Israeli Arabs care more about Palestinians(when they hear and see Tibi or zoabi in the media). I definitely think you guys should get better treat, and that it's possible.

One of my favorite parts of the country is these Arab villages up north. They are renowned in Israel for their great food and hospitality! Unfortunately the northern part of the country is a bit economically under-developed and rural, so many of them have to make very long trips for work and education. Many of my classmates and co-workers are from there and they can spend 3-4 hours on the bus each way.

@@dilz2467 you are misinformed about what jizya is. In Islamic governments of the time, the services provided by the government were not funded by how we tax people today. Muslims were required by religion to pay into the government through Zakkah which is a form of obligatory religious taxation for Muslims which fed into the services the government provided to the people. Jizya is the name of a form of taxation that was payed by non-muslims, which was also generally much much lower than the obligatory fees that Muslims had to pay. The idea of it was to allow non-muslims to pay into the same services that the government would provide all citizens with, Muslim or non-muslim. And it also came with exemptions to the elderly, the disabled and people too poor to pay into it and more.

To love, to care, to honour and respect. If we can do that how beautiful and peaceful the world would be!

How can any country make peace with a country that came back to their home after killing milions of them? That must be really dumb

I hope that he and other like him will be members of the Knesset, instead of the current anti-Israel Arab members, because they only separate, and people like this guy can help integrate the Arabs in Israel.

Israel built field hospitaal at It's border with Syria during the civil war - 100 something Syrian children/teenager have got residency permit in Israel, waiting to be reunited with family members who are also allowed to join them. - I saw documentaries in which Israeli/Israel i government are helping Palestinians. One Palestinian girl received a kidney from an Israeli victim of a suïcide bomb attack. The young man was a medical student. His mother had a few minute to decide after a phone call from Israeli Authority. Israel has the most complete kedneys databank in the region. - many Jewish projects in Israel are helping Palestinians. A couple from our church go once a year to Israel to do some voluntary work.. The huisband would pick up sick Gazans children from the border and transport them to Israeli hospitals. At least 500 Israëli's work voluntarily on this project alone. There are more voluntary projects. Obviously goed news do not sell well. Hate news make the headlines.

This video completely changed my ideas about Arabs and their ideology. I was so outraged by the attack on October 7, that I dwelt myself into a complete hate mode. I now understand that I was wrong.
