Hebron: The Reality of Israeli Settlement in Palestine // Behind The Wall

It’s widely known that there are Jewish settlements in Palestinian territory, but very few people know what the lives of people are actually like in these isolated districts.
I traveled to Hebron, a Palestinian city that has Israeli settlements right in the middle of the city itself, and managed to enter a Jewish neighborhood surrounded by barbed wire fences and checkpoints.
In this video, I’m going to share what I saw and experienced in this controversial section of Hebron.
This video is the second video of my Hebron trip, so if you haven’t seen the previous one, please check it out as well↓

Full Context of the Hebron Massacre: 1) It is not simply because of "rumours", Israeli historian Haim Gerber pointed out that in numerous documents written by Zionist leaders in the late 1920s they expressed the will to demolish the buildings on the “Temple Mount” to make space for a new Jewish Temple. 2) Ashkenazi Jews (Jews that were brought in by the British without permission of Palestinians) wants to be separated from the Arabs & even the Arab Jews (Jews that have already been living with Arabs for hundreds of years with very little conflict). 3) More than 450 Jewish lives were saved on that day by other Palestinian families who gave them refuge. 4) After Hebron massacre, even Zionist historian Hans Kohn resigns. He said: “I feel that I can no longer remain a leading official within the Zionist Organisation… We pretend to be innocent victims. ..." Please like and comment. Of course there are 2 sides of the story, but Arabs & native Jews had no problem living together. Problems arise when the Jews from Europe was sent by the British & they don't want to coexist.

1938-39 ethnic cleanesing of Jews from Hebron broke a many thousands years of presence of Jewish people in Hebron. Following 1948 after Israel was born, the invasion of Arab armies, Hebron was captured and occupied by the Jordanian Arab Legion. During the Jordanian occupation, which lasted until 1967, Jews were not permitted to live in the city, nor to visit or pray at the Jewish holy sites in the city. Additionally, the Jordanian authorities and local residents undertook a systematic campaign to eliminate any evidence of the Jewish presence in the city. They razed the Jewish Quarter, desecrated the Jewish cemetery, demolished 34 synagogues. Despite these things, you show in this video that Jews gently let the Arabs pray at their holy sites even under Israeli control. But you are talking about Israeli occupation.... If Hebron is under Jewish occupation, then Okinawa is under Japanese occupation.

It’s so strange for me to see my hometown through your eyes.. Hebron is the city of my ancestors and yet I cannot sit foot there because of the apartheid! Can you believe that my father can’t even go to Palestine in general? And he’s of Palestinian ancestory, even his Jordanian passport couldn’t grant him the ability to go there. It’s strange, seeing Herron through your lense, it’s heartbreaking for me, yet so endearing! I’m connected to the city all along, it’s like it has my heart. As if was born there. As if I took my first steps there. As if I grow older and raise my children there. As if I were to die there.. Hebron is a beautiful city, ancient I’d say. If we were to equate the Palestinian cities to people, Hebron would be this sweet elderly who has seen much, who loves much and has all the stories from the past. People should really educate themselves. Sadly this is video is omitting alot if information. The Jews are forbidden from entering any Muslim cities/holy places. The Qoran is explicitly anti-semetic. That is why they hate Jews so much and many of the Arabs there are Jihadists that are ALWAYS planning terrorist attacks, that's why the Israeli army cannot rest. They always hated the Jews living among them, they were not so "peaceful" as we would love to believe. Fun fact: Many of the Arabs in Hebron were offered milllions of dollars to move to another city, but they refuse. They do not have to live in Hebron, they insist on living there. It is NOT a prison. Also there are over 20 countries that are Muslim if they wish to live with similar culture. There is only 1 tiny country for the Jewish people. Why is there no empathy for Jews? Many of the current Israelis are Jews that were expelled from neighboring Arab countries, and from Nazi germany. The Arabs in the are known as Palestine were actually partnering with Nazis in the 40's to exterminate Jews as well. Did you know that? Read some actual history, not Tik Tok videos. 6 million Jews (and other minorities) were persecuted and almost wiped out.

America is funding this apartheid. And China has it’s own version in Xinjiang, which is arguably worse, because the Han have no historical right to be living there. And the BBC HAVE made impartial documentaries often favourable to the Palestinians.

That depends on the area. There are areas under Israeli control and areas under Palestinean control. And unfortunately it's nessecary. The moment Palestineans get more freedom the terrorists amongst them use it. Every country which took in Palestineans was damaged by them. That's why no Arab nation wants to take them in. The unfortunate truth is that most of these things are reactions towards Palestinean terrorism. Regarding the Jewish settlers it's also not very clear. The jews had to flee when Jordan conquered the area, so some of them are simply returning. But on the other hand there are also new settlers. It's a rather complicated situation where both sides have justified stances. Regarding Israel there are illegal settlers, while when it comes to Palestine there are terrorists amongst them. At the end of the day it started when some Arabs tried to kill the jews and others left their homes for making room for an attempted genocide by the surrounding Arab nations. I think it's understandable that you don't want a group of people which would support murdering you or even might actively do it in your midst. And those are the Arabs who defined themselves later as "Palestineans" (I think it was in the 60s, but I need to look it up). At first the Jews bought their land. Some of it was uninhabitable and consisted out of swamps, which had to be dried up, some of it was land which was inhabitable, but no one lived there and on some land there were squatters, who were forced to leave.

The philistines (Palestinians) were the ones who arrived in Syria Palestina before the Roman oppression of the Jews. There had never been a 'Palestinian' or significant Muslim presence on where Israel was. If you look at the map that Hamas leaders continuously use its filled with lies and does not explain the full story AT ALL. Learn your history. Infact the only reason why Palestinians are called Palestinians are because they were Muslims who in solidarity wanted to throw the Jews in the Ocean! We can continuously see the oppression of Jews and perfectly explains the three, No Peace, No Recognition, No negotiation. The Palestinian people have voted for Hamas in the 2006/2007 election and everything that Israel had built previously in Gaza before the 2005 withdrawal of all Jewish people from Gaza had crumbled under all Gaza wars Hamas had started since then.

@lionofzion That was hundreds of years ago, and there have been jews there since then, too. The majority of the population in that area has been the same people since biblical times. People, even according to the Bible/Torah, were there before the jews even got there. The area might have been under official control over various empires, but the people have largely been the same. Some simply changed religions over time. The English started this conflict by starting the settler colonial zionist movement there. Before that, it was a multi cultural area that was hoping for statehood like the other Arab nations were promised. If you are going by what the religious books say, Israelites were actually the original invaders since apparently "God promised" the land to them, so it was ok to take over parts of it. even in their own texts they were the original invaders. Regardless, this conflict was started by the British occupation.

@@Bendylife True, you have to understand that before 1948 these lands were a part of Transjordon and Syria which is why it ended up being broken up by the Brits. Just a point to note if you look at the history of the land there were big malaria issues and when the Jews started coming in late 1800 and 1900 they learned how to make the land fertile and a lot of the Arabs that lived there worked for these Jews.

  • @Bendylife

@lionofzion Those things still didn't give Britain the right to withhold state hood from the people of Palestine in favor of creating the state of Israel. It was clear that the Zionist plan from the beginning was to push the Palestinians from their homes, even before the Holocaust happened. There is simply no excuse for what happened, and Britain bares a large portion of that blame.
