I went to Israel back in 2016 after graduating college and experienced something life changing. I was spit on by jews while eating with friends and they told me not to say anything or the military would come. I said well "im an American, I havent done anything to them lol" he said it was bc i was christia so out of respect for the people i was with i didnt say much else. One of my friends urged me to check out west bank so i got a permit and went through. I told my friend I wanted to dress like a normal palestinian to experience what his family has and it was eye opening. I was harrassed by military when going to the store and thrown rocks at by jews when i was just looking at the art on the west bank wall. I was circled around by jews who were saying stuff to me, I didnt understand what they were saying. I ended up just walking away and they threw more stuff at me. The experience was pretty crazy and not all jews i met over there were like that. I actually met some pretty nice ones in Jerusalem but they did say the extremist zionist had ruined their culture and it contributed to all the hate i saw. They apologized many times about the things i had experienced and of course i said it wasnt their fault but i could tell in their eyes they were deeply disturbed about what their people had done to me. Now, I have been to Mexico and thought the federalis carrying m16s around was crazy, this was next level insane lol The people in the west bank were some of the nicest people i have ever met. We ate together every night and talked like crazy. They shared their home with me and never let me give them money. I ended up giving some to one of the little girls and said to give to their dad when i leave. Its an sbolute travesty what i saw and i cant say anything more than this is just an occupation of people who are being demonized for just being muslim or arab. Since then ive been vocal about it with friends and family and have educated myself on the matter but its a mess and this fascist PM they have hasnt made anything better. I dont condone what hamas has done but explanation isnt the same as justification. I dont justify Hamas but I do understand why they exist, they exist because of tyrannical practices done by Israel and its fascist government. Its only natural gangs will form in Los Angeles when police brutality reached an all time high. I wish for peace for Israel and Palestine everyday and I hope humanity prevails. Justice for Palestine!

Also , in 1948 the UN gave Israel to Israel and the Arabs living there as well . Many arabs sold their land to the Jews ! They were greedy .. then , ever since then they didn’t accept what the UN decided ! And fighting Israel since then ! They kill us wothoit warning . They kill innocent civilians that have nothing to do with any of this ! We don’t numb Gaza just like that . Only when they actually come and kill us ! Thank God! I have been twice to Israel and met many amazing people. However, it´s insane how the western media protects Israel at all cost. The narrative is so partial and manipulative. I am not saying the terror attacks weren´t horrible. But what Zionism has done to Palestinians over the past decades it could considered a war crime. The issue of a Palestinian state is one issue, and the Hamas organization is another serious issue. It is forbidden to combine them and support terrorism. Israel is the only law-abiding democratic country in the Middle East. That is why there must be an army, police in every corner in order to fortify the security of the residents on both sides. Regarding the terrible issue that happened on Saturday, October 7, 2023, the attack by the terrorist organization Hamas. This is an extremely terrible thing. The Hamas organization is a murderous organization designed to murder Jews, civilians, babies, old people. Rape, abuse and more. A murderous organization that aims to take over and conquer Israel. An organization that uses its residents as human shields. Under hospitals, schools, and homes of the innocent. I must point out that Israel is taking all measures to prevent acts of terrorism both in the territories on the Green Line in the territories and in the Gaza Strip. It is her right to defend herself. Israel does not harm the residents of the territories or the Gaza Strip On the contrary, it transfers money, food, fuel and more in order to ensure the security of the Arab citizens. I suggest to all those who write here, that Israel hurts the Palestinians, to check themselves again. That's why they call it a smart city. Our smart cities will be like this, but far more subtle and dressed up much more nicely, with a friendly protective look rather than an oppressive prison look - but functionally the same. Here part of the whole point of it is to intentionally make the Palestinians feel oppressed and constantly watched, so they internalise it and act very meek, like in the panopticon prison concept. But with smart cities in 'democratic' countries, the idea will be for the majority of the population not to notice or at least not care, so the cameras will be hidden or disguised, checkpoints will be soft and under the guise of something else (like disease prevention, traffic control or crowd control), barriers will be more virtual rather than physical fences (it will log when you cross a line and if you do it too much you might get harassed or fined or questioned by police after, but not physically prevent you from doing so). Most importantly, since nearly everyone nearly always has their phone on them, people can be tracked by Bluetooth/WiFi emissions as they walk past a sensor, and listened into even in their homes, so a lot of these obvious surveillance systems aren't really even needed. And the panopticon/watched feeling will still be there just as much for the people who know what's going on and do take freedom and privacy seriously - who are the indeed people most likely to be a genuine threat to an oppressive system. So it will still have the same chilling effect on many people while not upsetting the docile ones.

My grandfather was Jewish...yet I will be participating in the Nakba March in Toronto tomorrow because my heart breaks for the Palestinian people who have been suffering for the past 75 years. You would think that out of anyone, the Jews in particular would recognize and appreciate human rights after what they experienced in WWII. We humans are such a flawed species when those who were persecuted become the persecutors!!!

@Alun Williams The situation in Hebron is more complicated than what meets the eye in this video. As early as the 1920s, Hebron was a hot-bed of violence. There was also a massacre perpetrated against its Jewish citizens. What the IDF does today in Hebron is to prevent such violent acts in the future. Still, many Arabs who live in Hebron are free to work and travel outside of Hebron. You would never know that by listening to this documentary.

@@Dovid2000 David, I was brought up in the 1960’s/70’s. In those days the Palestinians used to regularly take hostages and blow up planes so I always associated them with terrorism. However, having read so many books and seen so many KZread videos showing the violence inflicted on the Palestinian people, and especially have read the Amnesty Report, I have completely changed my views. The Israelis seem to me to be treating the Palestinians exactly as the Nazis did with the Jewish people in Europe during WW2 and that is unacceptable on any level. Alun
