In these moments, very strange to see two friends, an Israeli Jew and an Egyptian Muslim together in Al Aqsa mosque, but at the same time it warms my 😍. If only we all could be like this friendship and the world would be a nicer place =) I still have hope, even though times are tough.

And nothing about the fact that there is a discrimination against non muslims to enter the temple mount? So nice of you to stop caring when non muslims are discriminated. And jews in particular because this is the holiest place for jews. For muslims, it's not even the third holiest as the real al aqsa is in saudi arabia.

To be fair, when all a child has experienced from Arab society is violence, it's reasonable that he'd be wary.

So impressed with Mahmoud especially because he seemed so affected with the spiritualism that he experienced visiting Jerusalem. He is obviously a quality person who believes in G-d.

The media is projecting hate on both sides. It was super nice during thos very difficult time to show the world that people are just people regardless of politics and to show how similar and human jewish people and arabs are! I really wish the best for the middle east. Peace is the only way moving forward! Love from Egypt

Yeah israel has a gdp of 55k which is a lot more similar to European countries than it is to other Middle Eastern countries like us, a lot of people have a lot of opinions about Israel but one of the things no one can deny is that they're extremely advanced economically

As a Northern European, I find it interesting to see how an enemy became an ally in the political landscape of the moment. Clearly, the Middle East survives thanks to the peace between Israel and Egypt. A similar peace and understanding of each other could spread to other countries in the region.

I'm Egyptian too and I love Israel and Israelis. Some Egyptians may not believe this but you're exactly where most of us love Israelis. Peace loving people don't concern themselves with warmongers posts. So maybe warmongers sould leave us and our content alone.

They don’t put a stamp in your passport anymore. They give you a separate little piece of paper.

you could blur he's face being there in this intense times will get him in trouble back home,very kind and well educated man that understand that all deserve to life no matter our background or relegion, away from conflict

On my fourth trip to Israel I went to that exact shawarma/falafel shop you and Mahmoud ate in the old city. I say behind where you were with my back to the wall so I could enjoy people watching. I remember there being a Fish and Chip shop nearby in the Jewish quarter. As a Brit it felt like a home from home :-) Great video achi.

Whoever were the folks who said an Egyptian couldn’t walk freely in Israel, are sadly ignorant. Lebanese, Syrian, Arabs, Copts, Druze, all walk, workmen thrive and live decent, peaceful lives in Israel, those are facts and the reality of Israel, enjoy and be well in the ancient land of Israel.

I've enjoyed watching some of your videos. Look forward to continuing to watch your channel. Let me know if you are ever in Hungary.

I can sorta relate to this guy. When I did birthright in 2008 we had one girl who was stopped for questioning because she had an Egyptian last name but then was let go and we went on her way.

Extreme contrast to when you visited Egypt… Israelis are somewhat obsessed with welcoming strangers (even those from countries that were hostile in the past or currently) and will most of the time try to have conversations even though they can barely communicate with said person!

Visiting Israel doesn't break any laws for Egyptians. But some of the extremists would really be pissed off if they know that you did however luckily if you don't tell everyone that you did you'll save time from all these debates and questions and probably fights if it escalates. They Egyptian gov has to approve your visit to Israel tho "Not a big deal at all" and the Egy police would not know that you've been to Israel "incase if your ran against one of those extremist police officers" because Israel doesn't stamp on passport on entry.

Just a small correction, the Western Wall is not part of the temple but a wall of the temple that was built by king Herod The Great. The temple was completely destroyed, there’s no memory of it anymore.

Yes it’s part of the wall that surrounded the compound of the temple that was lavishly renovated by Herod, not a wall of the temple itself.
