Since im in the city i had to look at through my phone camera and it wasnt as bright , but my brother lives in the country here and he got some extremely bright and beautiful colors captured in his pictures!!! All my life ive wanted to go somewhere to see them and have never had money to and i actually got to see it here at home ❤❤❤❤
I've been watching you for a little over a year. My mother passed away a month ago, and your videos helped me through her illness and passing. Thank you. Additionally I think I would like polar night better, than polar sun.

As an Aussie, the idea of 24/7 brightness and darkness are hard to get my mind around, even though I've been watching your videos for several years now! On another note, we've been able to see the Aurora Australis from some parts of southern Australia over the last couple of days thanks to the solar flares, and it reminded me of the northern lights in your videos 😊

Hi, from Mid Queensland Australia. Where a cold overnight for us is 5 c I cant stand the cold but if you can where you live is incredibly beautiful. Cant imagine how breathtaking it must be in real life.
Sensory overload! Every year I watch and I think to myself. I’d be speed cleaning my house at 3 am cos my brain wouldn’t shut off. I’d want to constantly look out at that view. I completely understand why you call it zombie season. Your brain starts thinking it’s going to miss something! Polar Day is gorgeous but I definitely get why you’re exhausted all the time. Enjoy your break!🥰

I was thinking way too much about this and I have come to this conclusion as well. I get very depressed/sick in Chicago from the darkness in winter. I know I could never handle Polar Night. But this... may be more mentally exhausting. Your brain associates light/day with activity. My mind races all the time anyway. This would make it never stop!
I live in a chaotic family in a super chaotic huge city and I envy you so much Cecilia, if I had the money or a good remote job, believe me I'd move there immediately. I love the cold and the snow and the peace and nature. I wish you all the best and thank you for your videos. You need to know you're living the life a lot of us would love to live but can't. As much as I love sunshine, I think having it constantly would drive me crazy. For whatever reason, the dark is comforting. Always love seeing you, Christofer and Grimm
I can TOTALLY relate Cecilia, I live in Alaska and it's the same, only our nearly 24hrs of daylight starts end of May. Currently we do have 2 hrs of "light dark, dusk" from 0130-330. So there's at least that for now I agree with you about the Polar days being more difficult and tiring than the Polar nights! Thank you for sharing your day with us. Stay blessed 🌷💐

Your enthusiasm and appreciation for your surroundings and life in general is contagious! Don't change Cecilia ❤ beautiful video as usual. Thank you for sharing your life and thoughts with us. Highlight of my Sunday 😊
Simply stunning! I can't imagine how peaceful sitting on your deck must be. Grim is beyond adorable. 💞
Oh man I have to go get my coffee before I start watching. Doesn't feel right watching without it.
Having light-blocking covers on your windows that you put down at about 7pm, and putting your light switches on automatic dimmers that will simulate the sun setting, would do absolute wonders for your circadian rhythm during polar summer. 🙂 Once the lights are off, you can just use a warm task-light that won't keep you awake, and would be very cozy.

Our longest day is until 10 pm. And I love it! And I wish it was like that year round. In college, I learned to sleep whenever, even if all the lights are on or shades are open. Being happy it's beautiful and sunny, and you are on the green side of the earth as they say, it's good 24/7. 😎

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! ❤ 💐 To all the mothers out there!!! Hi Cecilia, Christopher, and Grimm!!!
16:16 this looks like a painting with the icebergs and clouds making a near perfect match. Stunning.
You are the only channel I click so fast when I see you uploaded on Sunday. That's how good your content is🙂 Sending much positivity from Minnesota.
Love hearing Chistoffer laughing while playing with Grim.
i love that after a number of yeats living there, you still notice and appreciate the beauty of where you live. it would be easy to become a little blimd to something you see every day, but you seem to always make a point to admire the gorgeous landscape and recognise that it is a gift to be in such a unique environment, while also respecting the sometimes dangerous elements. i love this channel because it gives me something so far out of my usual experience and cos i love you guys...and grim!. thank you.
I saw the northern lights all over the sky directly above Sheffield, England on Friday night. That's once in a lifetime. It was like pearly white ribbons of light stretched and spread right across the sky with a bright green glow over the Eastern horizon. Geomagnetic activity was that high, getting on 5000 nT.

The music you choose is always so awesome
The videos is so soothing and relaxing after a 10 hour shift.
I enjoy your content so much. I find your life in Svalbard so fascinating. It puts in perspective that you face far greater challenges than I do in the luxury of a warmer climate and ability to easily obtain goods in the UK, and yet you are so damn positive and optimistic. What a fabulous example you set.
I have binge watching all your videos🫶🏼I am so fascinated with your content! You have so much energy and such a wonderful outlook on whatever life brings your way. I would totally love polar days the best. I love daylight! I hate when it gets dark, but I enjoy watching your reactions to both polar nights and days!
Beautiful as always.❤ We were able to see the Northern lights here in Gloucestershire UK for the last two nights. Really amazing to see them from my own home for a change.

You have the most beautiful morning coffee view, the ice floating and the blue water, ❤️I could sit there til the evening drink. Thank you for sharing your day. 🇨🇦
Beautiful video Cecilia. Your video shows just how precious our earth is and how much we have to be grateful for.
I seriously love Grimm. What a doggo!
I found your channel through Kara and Nate’s channel. Svalbard is gorgeous. As much as I really don’t like the cold, I would travel there in a heart beat to experience Polar day and Polar night seasons.
The light, the water, the ice, and the snow make for a beautiful video. ❤ Thank you!
So beautiful, Cecilia. The view of the fjord off your deck brought me to tears. Might you consider a live cam stream off your deck overlooking the water…? My grandfather taught me to row when I was a little girl. The idea of rowing just off from your cabin…. Wow. I can easily imagine just sitting out there for hours. Nirvana.
My husband was stationed near the North Pole. So I was showing him your videos. “Yes, I remember the Polar Days & Nights.” 😴😵💫

Everytime you walk out on your porch with a cup of coffee, I get a huge smile on my face! You enjoy life in the smallest ways.🫶🏼
I live in Denver, the mile high city. The sun shines brightly over 300 days of the year. I’ve learned wide brimmed hats and dark framed plastic sunglasses are musts (metal reflects light into the eye). I would definitely prefer polar nights to polar days. Love your channel!
Always love your videos Cecilia! Thank you for sharing your unique life with us😊💗
Love your videos. They always prove soothing & relaxing, & I will rewatch whenever possible.
Thank you, Cecilia for sharing you daily life and for showing the beautiful Svalbard. You truly know how to enjoy the beautiful creation and you are such an inspiration. You help me to look at my “mundane” life with different perspective. 🌸
🎉🎉🎉we had the northern lights in southern Ireland for the first time in my life it was amazing a little bit of swalbard 🤩🤩🤩
Your videos are wonderful! Very light, funny, and calming. I always look forward to another one or just rewatching older ones. Thanks Cecilia.
Cecilia, it's so beautiful there! Wow, what a view from your deck. Priceless.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That place is beautiful! I’m in awe of how beautiful it is.
I love seeing you navigate the extreme seasons up there.
I’ve been following this channel for awhile but I’ve been on a kick lately. I’ve been rewatching all videos and it’s brought me so much happiness. Especially the very cold/holiday season. I’m someone who thrives in cold, winter, and snow. So now that it’s summer, it’s been make me a little sad. But I feel like I can find that happiness through these videos ❤
Beautiful footage of the sea and floating snow. And even more so of Grim. Svalbard was 'the' most beautiful hidden gem in the world until Cecilia introduced us to it. Now a lot of people are obsessed with it. And rightly so. Thank you for this beautiful video of a snowy Svalbard.
Any day with Grim is a good day!!❤
I love the ice floating on the water, so beautiful
Thanks. I downloaded the game on my iPad. Happy Mother’s Day. Grimm loves you! ❤😊🐾🐾🐾🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💐💐💐
I got to experience it two years ago in Greenland, being there for the Summer solstice and it was hard. Sleeping in a tent on the ice cap, I didn't realise it would be daylight in the tent, that was a very short night 😅 And I slept at people's house for a few nights but they didn't even have good curtains to block the light out, my body was so out of wack, I can see why you prefer polar nights, I would too for sure!!! Love your videos as always, my weekly dose of peace, thank you
Because of your sunshine, you probably missed the global Aurora storm last Friday. It was nice to experience a bit of what you see all polar winter. Thank you for your lovely videos. Really enjoy them!
I love the 20 or so minute posts you do. Often that's all the time we have to watch..! Keep 'Em coming!
What a magical time of the year. 🙂 Thanks for sharing it with us!
I so look forward to your weekly videos! Enjoy your day ❤
Hiii! I love how positive you are Cecilia! For you the days are always gorgeous, spectacular no matter the darkness, brithness of the day❤❤
Spectacular footage, Cecelia!
This cold place warms my heart 💞💞
I just love beautiful Grimm.
I have to say no matter season it is there, it is always a beautiful sight to see. Thank you for sharing.
The day you are referring to when the sun doesn’t move at all is probably 22 June which is the day of Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year for most countries (I’m from Russia - so definitely the longest on our side of the world) and the peak of your midnight sun season ☀️ after that day - the countdown to another season begins 🌙
My new favorite KZread channel! Love these videos. I live in south Florida. Completely different lifestyles. Love the polar nights the most, cozy nights in the cabin, your vlogs out, and your sense of fashion.
This was one of your most beautiful videos! I don’t recall seeing those polar ice flows and bergs (so near to your cabin) in your previous ‘spring’ videos. We get something like that on our river after it starts to melt but nothing as beautiful as this. The deep blues and white whites are incredible. 💙
my wife and are visiting Svalbard later this year, we can't wait.
Your life is so amazing even with its day and night times. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for another beautiful video. Appreciate it. Was super funny to see grimm not wanting to come inside with Christopher for bed time. He was protesting haha. All the best ❤
Så härligt Cecilia. Hälsningar från Östergötland med härlig försommar nu 👍🌞🇸🇪
So beautiful! Enjoyed spending the day with you!
Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I so look forward each week to a new video, and I often rewatch the old ones!
Great video! Loved the whole concept! Can’t wait to see your new cabin.
I love the stillness. The quiet in your location is heavenly. We have had lots of rain on the east coast of Australia this past 2 weeks. The dam that feeds Sydney started overflowing today. Yet we still maintained overnight temperatures of 11c.
Awesome! The best youtube channel! The Svalbards are something special in winter but also during the brightest days.Grim is too cute! Thank you very much 💕⚘️🪻🌷
A sunny day and the beautiful Grim, such a nice video !!
Amazing, it's so beautiful there Cecilia! Thank you so much for sharing it with us! Love ya!
I will say, Cecilia, the way you describe your views and how excited you are - makes me want to live there. Knowing damn well, I could never survive in a place so cold. But your cinematography is just so beautiful that I often say to myself “well, maybe!” Love Svalbard through your eyes . Would love to visit.
I love your videos so much. I couldn’t imagine going so long without the stars though!!
How I wish I lived in Svalbard absolutely love the place.Great clip Cecelia and Christopher
Last week, one of your videos was recommended, so I decided to watch it. Best recommendation ever!!! It’s like a whole different world. I love it.
I am so thrilled that I got to see the Northern Lights in northern Colorado! They were not what I was expecting. But I thought of your channel when I saw them. It was blue and green. We could not see it with the naked eye. We did get photos.
