Life in Prison in Romania 🇷🇴
Join me today to a trip through Romania's switch from Communism to Capitalism.
We visit Timisoara, the very place where the Romanian revolution started back in 1989.
We continue to Doftana penitentiary an abandoned prison where the former Romanian dictator spent part of his youth, the place where he and his wife were trialed and executed and a second prison where a relative of mine went through the infamous RE-education.
Our journey ends in the capital Bucharest where we admire (NOT) one of the most pointless architectural acts of megalomania in the world.
