@@RNTV Even more then ''usual'' credit, when offered a record contract Aurora said no, she didn't want to become a singner, she was a dancer and wrote music for herself, ( a freind at school film and put on facebook a performence she did for school) but her mom told her: the way you touch soul with your song and voice can help a lot of ppl, you should share it! And that is what she did, even if she really didn't like doing show and meeting ppl, she worked realy hard to feel free on stage.

So Aurora had a field trip on the way to this surprise forest concert. One of the highlights was this song Warrior. She sang for two of her fans. The fans had no idea where they were going and Aurora had no idea who she would be singing to. She had just met her band and had an hour or so to rehearse this song before her two fans were chauffeured to her by her friend (and field trip guide.) This is magical. As superb as Aurora is, people either don't know or forget that what she does is the result of "Team Aurora", her stellar band, her song writing partners, her fellow record producers and her older sisters, Miranda (her make up artist) and Viktoria (who designs her clothes). I hope you post your reaction to the documentary section of this presentation, as it puts the concert into perspective, showcases Aurora's amazing personality and contains the stunning performance of "Warrior". This concert and the Nidarosdomen concert prove that magic is real. PS The power, both physical and mental, that comes from that petite frame is absolutely amazing.

I highly recommend checking out the full version of HAIK, with all three parts - the documentary, the private concert, and the forest concert. It puts the full thing in perspective and tells you what HAIK is all about, what they did for Aurora, and why they chose her. Plus, you get to see her wonderful, goofy personality in the documentary... how she thinks and feels and a little bit of her background. It is ❤‍🔥 search for - AURORA HAIK Full Version [ENGLISH SUBTITLES] on youtube. Seriously, don't miss it! Aurora is a treasure. She's so stream of conscience... she says what she thinks when she thinks it and is blissfully absent of a filter. She's so wonderfully authentic and sweet.

I really enjoyed this reaction you guys 🤗 I definitely recommend watching the documentary leading to this amazing concert in the forest she spent a lot of time in growing up, not far from her parents house 💕🌲🌳 I’ve actually been hiking a lot in this same forest, beautiful😍 Yes it’s her parents 🥰 “The River” She wrote this song after reading about the high suicide rates amongst boys/men “Infections of a different kind” One night I wrote a song in my dreams. It was the title track from my album Infections of a Different Kind - Step 1. I woke up in the middle of the night and went down to my piano. I pushed the record button on my phone and played the melody. And then I went to bed again." Aurora “Runaway” As you already know, she wrote this when she was 11 years old “It Happened Quiet” This song was inspired by domestic violence, and in the end she (the victim) comes back to haunt the one that hurt/killed her “The Seed” A cry for Mother Earth ❤️ “All is soft inside” She says this is a song for the emotional people “Daydreamer” The song talks about how humans should be daydreamers instead of one-dimensional people with little contact with the world and their true selves. It would be really awesome if you could react to the beautiful concert at Nidarosdomen 2017🙏😍😍

Here is a beautiful story Aurora told about a line in the song "Infections of a Different Kind", and it shows that back here in 2018, she already thought about the concept that became the title of her 2022 album "The Gods We Can Touch": "On track eight you say ‘Be god in the shape of a girl’ - what does that line mean to you?" "I was at an airport, it was late, I was alone and my plane was the last one to leave. It was the year before I wrote the song, so 2016, which was a hard year for me because it was quite busy and I was sick all the time - I was in the hospital many many times. So yeah, at the airport… I was on my way home again, I felt a bit out of place, out of my own body, and then I looked at this family. I saw two very tired parents, and then this little girl - she was maybe 3 years old - and she seemed to give them so much joy, even though they were very tired. And she gave me a lot of joy. And then I saw an old couple, leaning over to look at the little girl who was smiling back at them. She seemed to interact with almost everyone at the gate, and make everyone happy. Without even knowing it. And I loved the way happiness and love can be so… simple? Don’t underestimate the power of a child. It was just very magical to see how much it affected everyone and everything. If I was to choose a religion, I would love it if god would be something that you can touch. Something like a little girl, on this earth, and not something that is far away or judges from above, you know?"

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story from Aurora about the inspiration behind the line you mentioned. It's truly touching to hear how a simple moment at an airport inspired such a powerful message about the importance of love, happiness, and the magic of children. It's also interesting to see how this concept evolved into the title of her 2022 album. Aurora's ability to capture the essence of the human experience in her music is truly remarkable.

@@brianpodolsky3949 No problem, she explained her reasons behind the album in many interviews. For example in the Greek mythology there was gods everywhere, in the earth, water, in trees, the sun etc. She is wondering why we "moved" God up in the sky instead, and judging us from above. Maybe we would have behaved better towards nature and the earth and each other, if we kept that old view with the divine being everywhere, even in us. Here is her explanation in a Norwegian interview (CC for Eng Subs): youtu . be / eBnJWs_EUCE&t=28s

I love this Concert. Every time it makes me smile. And yes, that is her parents. Her back up singer Silja Sol is no longer with the band unfortunately, because she is pursuing her own singing career. They really were magic together. I miss her. Her new backup singers are fantastic though. Her newest Album is fantastic from start to finish. Aurora truly is a unique and special human. She's like a natural anti depressant, and many of us need that these days. She is my current favorite artist and I've been on the planet for 51 years and have enjoyed a ton of all kinds of music. You're absolutely right friend. Aurora's live performances are truly something special. Her voice is so pure and unique that it's hard to believe you're listening to a live recording rather than a studio one. That's the sign of a true artist - someone who can deliver a flawless performance every time, no matter the setting. Aurora's songwriting ability is indeed incredible, and it's amazing to think that she wrote most of these songs as a young teenager. Her talent and creativity are beyond her years, and it's a testament to her genius that she was able to write such beautiful and meaningful songs at such a young age. Runaway at 12 years old is just one example of her remarkable talent. It's great to see that you appreciate Aurora's artistry and talent as much as we do. She really is in a league of her own, and we feel lucky to be able to experience her music and performances. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

Thank you for your kind reply, the beautiful thing about a part of the Aurora warriors as we like to call ourselves is the love everyone shares with each other there are no outsiders everyone is welcomed for we all share and care that we all have at times been hurt or have suffered in life, but with the words of medicine that come in the lyrics of Auroras songs we are blessed,we love Aurora simply because we no that her love for us is so genuine, seriously you could not wish for a more humble human being than Aurora she has never craved to become a mainstream artist for her music goes much deeper than that and has always stayed to her own beliefs,so once again thank you and enjoy your journey with Aurora ❤️

Your little discussion after the first song The River was so on point....! That's literally what she wrote the song about. Not just about how it's emotionally healthy and cathartic to cry. But specifically she wrote it to address how society stifles men's emotional life and ability to cry, and how that leads to such severe mental health problems when you bottle everything up all your life. Aurora has said she wrote The River after she read a statistic that something like 72% of suicides are men...even though they're just half the population. As a guy myself...I love her message. Tbh, I haven't cried in months. And maybe only 3 times in the past 3 years....and I know that's not healthy. This is kind of a nice reminder that I need to....let it flow lol. I KNOW I'll feel so refreshed and clear afterwards. Maybe I need to literally make it an event and plan it out lol.....like, Tuesday, after work, at 8:30pm: Cry. >_

Hello. Very late to this, sorry for that. But become very happy that you was so very kind and heartful with your reaction. You are definitely warrior and weirdo. I am so glad that mike is so outspoken about his tears😊. I am nearly 60 and i am one of the same kind. Grats to us 😅 I love this little concert so much. My favorite by Aurora and one of the best overall i have seen. My favorite song herr is infections..... Auroras melancholy side speaks so much to me. I see that Exhale, inhale have been suggested and i stand by that totally. For me the best song on the latest album and it's in the same sphere as the seed. Hope to see you soon again.

Sorry I missed the premiere, because I was hoping to chat with you guys while it was playing. KZread had told me it was 8 am my time, but it turned out to be 6 am. I was even up then, but didn't realize the time discrepancy until it was already over. In any case, I really loved watching this again with you guys, and I enjoyed all your commentary throughout. No need to apologize for not reacting to the full version with documentary. It's a pretty big time commitment, and it's hard to know ahead of time just how important the documentary is to setting up the concert. I'm just glad you guys did in fact watch it. Good idea to work in the breaks for setting up future releases for individual reactions. I hope you guys do this format again for her full concerts, because it's fun to watch it in its entirety with you guys, and you can still break it down for individual releases. (I'm sure I'll be watching those too.) If you're interested, I think KEXP Iceland 2018 would be a great one to do next. Completely different format, but it's Aurora at her most fun and energetic self. Bjork is even in the audience (though not shown). It's only about a half hour, and each song is either the best live version she's ever done of that song, or at least up there. A true fan favorite: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gpOMydeuqK_VYZM.html&pp=ygUTYXVyb3JhIGtleHAgaWNlbGFuZA%3D%3D

You didn't miss the premierefriend. We actually canceled it and just posted it normally. Some were not as accepting that we hadn't watched the documentary before the show. It seemed like the live chat might not have remained as positive as we would've liked, so we didn't want to take the chance. In the future we will have to do this again to make up for this time with better planning ahead of time. So about the format. We recorded them all seperatly and planned to release them all one by one and after they had all released we would release this "supercut" version. The seperate videos all got hit with copyright claims that still haven't been resolved while the supercut had no issues at all from the beginning. We just decided to release this version now instead of waiting for the others. Thank you for linking us the KEXP show. We are thankful to have so much Aurora still to come!

I have so much to say.... But it is so difficult to out into words AND translate to English! But I will try! First! What a fantastic couple you are! So happy you found each other! I was very lucky! I was going to play pool at the youth club, but there was no free tables. I sat down to wait. In comes this qute young girl, and no free seats, so she asked it she could sit on my lap. She was only 13, I was 16. That is no 37 years ago, and she is my best friend, my soulmate, my love, my girlfriend, my wife, and my son's fantastic mother. I have always liked music. My first idol was Elvis, and after I have loved many fantastic artists; Queen, Madonna, Cliff Richard, Cris de Burgh, A-ha, the entire 80's, Elton John, MJ, Beatles any many other. But nobody has effected me as Aurora. She has changed me to a more understanding person, a person that love that people are different, instead of beeing a bit scared. Last summer I was at my first live Aurora concert in Bergen, her home town. I had seen EVERY Aurora clip on KZread, and all documentaries about her, and everyting else. I knew what I was going to get..... Oh my god I was wrong. She was eaven better! First she came on stage and was joking with her friends (us!). She warned us that she had a tear in her dress, and she was going to dance a lot, so we might see her underware! 😂 THEN she hit us hard with preformance after preformance. She had me standing with my mouth open, forgetting to breathe, whithin 2 minutes, I could not belive how she reached directly into my heart. When she sang Running With The Wolfs, she was SO intense and wild, her eyes was like a wild fantastic beast! My concert 2 was in Arendal 2 month later. Now I knew what I could expect! I was wrong again. She was even better! AND as a bonus I had my son and wife with me, and they loved it! My concert 3, she showed us that she is human! She was a bit sick, but STILL managed to do a magical consert! This year I am going to see Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams and Aurora. Can't wait!

Hello Jess, hello Mike, thank you for this wonderful reaction. I've seen the concert several times, and the entire documentation before that too. But it was even nicer with you two. Thanks You said so many right and important things about AURORA. - Crying is part of life and helps. - Her songs are very different. - Even her sad songs always have something positive, encouraging. Did you also notice that the music is never as sad as the lrics? - AURORA wants to help people with her music. And the interviews have shown that it works. - AURORA is the voice of nature. She is so closely connected to nature. She's so authentic, so natural. Some say she's like a forest elf. The suspicion arises at this concert.🙃😉 I've never seen a concert remotely similar. AURORA's live performances are almost always better than her music videos. Although the effects of the images are also very important for the songs. And yet AURORA has never been as good as here in HER forest. This is my opinion. I love this concert. AURORA has never disappointed me in the quality of her performances. And yet this concert is different. Keep it up and have a great day you two Greetings from Germany

We Germans say: "If you eat everything into yourself, you'll burst!" Gulping ALSO refers to emotional stuff. If you are sad: cry! If you have tears of joy because of Aurora's music:: Cry them! Crying cleanses the soul and has made me a stronger man! Lots of love from Germany. I leave a subscription. (google Translat) ;)
