Jim Leyland has been by far the greatest and feistiest manager in Tigers franchise history. Great managing career he had in Pittsburgh, Florida, Colorado, and Detroit.

He was just the best. I miss him in the dugout to this day.

Sad moment. Amazing legend and amazing man! So grateful to have met him briefly in Houston during The World Series weekend!! Wonderful man!

This still makes me sad, even in 2021.

Watching this the night Gardy retired unexpectedly really makes me appreciate how great this team was at one point. I can't wait as a Tigers fan to see it again some day. Leyland and Gardy were both absolute class acts and great role models for the organization. Ausmus was a joke as a manager
