I remember Layland buses in South Africa in mid 70 s for the route between Harding and Bizana

Lovely video Paul. Also you were spot on a while back saying Cumberland was returning. Indeed Cumbria is in fact being abolished in 2023 and the great Counties of Cumberland and Westmorland (Furness added to it) are coming back for good, happy days!

Cracking vid 👍 i missed getting to work on these at a local yard by a few years back in the early 00's, Darts and 709s by then 😎 all long gone now too

oh nooooooo I'm gutted to have missed thus, it's looks excellent. super video Paul, will definitely go back to whitehaven this summer so much to see and visit!

Spent many miles riding on them in London Country, London Transport and Eastern National and Southend Transport.

Enjoyed the video Paul. Something about bus rides that brings out the kids in us. Yes, it definitely has to be the top deck and at the front if possible. Interesting fact for you. Keith is originally from Warrington. Warrington Corporation had to have specially made buses to go around town, because one of the main routes had a road that was too narrow to take normal width buses.

Amazing video covering the whole event, dont think them gease weren't to happy with everyone passing by. I do belive they are planning a Leyland National 51 event for same weekend next year.

there is a company near glasgow called essbee coaches that ran them until 2017

Hi Paul another great video I was down at this event try to enjoy it unfortunately I couldn't because of the big groups of teenagers that was going around I had some insults thrown at me things are getting worse with teenagers these days
