Lexus IS250 IS350 Speedometer Tachometer Needle Repair Part 1| New Cluster Mileage Correction

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

We disassembly a Lexus 2IS cluster to do the LEDs and needles.
I got a replacement gauge cluster from a 2008 Lexus IS250 but the mileage different. I cloned the mileage and odometer EEPROM from my original 2007 cluster to the new cluster using a $10 EEPROM Programmer.
I will be changing the backlight LED in this cluster and also redoing the needles in the next video.

@@TunerwithKids thanks mate. I knew there was variance, just didn’t think 10%!was normal. Lots of Lexus forums seem to have folks talking about a similar issue. Fyi - instead of cutting traces and all, you can just jumper the 5v and 3.3v pins together and it will work. Just did my is250 cluster using this method. Still need an adapter for the pin out of the ic, but that part is easy with some jumper wires.
