😃Artur is such a great listener Love watching these lessons...
I love that he doesn't harp on what you did wrong because he knew part of it was just losing your confidence mid match. He's both a really great player and a really great teacher, which can be so hard to find. They're very rarely the same thing!
Love seeing the progress! I also love how your relationship with your coach has grown. You're very comfortable with each other and brutally honest.
Hey Levy, just wanted to say that I really enjoy these videos with your coach and would enjoy seeing more of these. I enjoy the dynamic of him asking questions and trying to find what you can improve upon without being condescending in the least, and your constant response of humility and simply wanting to get better. Even from a non-chess perspective, it's a great example of how to improve at really anything; also how to learn from others (and how to teach!). Thanks for posting!

I love how brutally honest he is to Levy. It's amusing seeing Levy on the receiving end of it after so many "guess the ELO" roasts. Also interesting that what Levy needs to work on is mostly the same basic principles as me at 1200, just much farther in advance. Don't do stuff if you can't explain why, don't overcomplicate, don't be afraid to make small improvements instead of going for a big attack if it's not reasy yet, don't hang mate (but for me its don't hang m3 or whatever and for Levy it's don't hang m10), etc.
Thanks for sharing your lessons Levy. Your coach is really good
It's always a process and never a quick journey. Keep persevering toward the Grandmaster title, you've got this.
thanks for sharing these videos, they are very formative

Coach Neiksans is on fire. He was also commenting on the Botez sister's stream a couple of days ago.
I want more video on endgame. Two Rook vs rook & pawn
That was a great lesson from Artur!
Maybe Levy needs to play the Alekhine defence in some blitz games to gain some perspective regarding evaluation of central positions. And it's fun to play!

Congrats on the lifts bro. Good stuff
The space advantage Levy had that coach underscores is written about in the book by Silman “How to reassess your chess.” That Levy is unfamiliar with it is surprising. It’s pretty clear that faster time controls against noobs for content has hurt Levy strategically and psychologically. Looking for shallow tricks and when there are none, floundering like a babe in the woods.
I honestly think you can do it. Your play has been pretty solid as of late.
Getting jacked with a 185 squat thats crazy
Enjoy your tournaments. Have fun! You got this!!
Hey Levy! Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your videos. Your passion for chess and unique commentary style make learning the game so enjoyable. Whether you're breaking down complex strategies or sharing funny moments, you always keep us engaged and entertained. Keep up the fantastic work, and know that you've got a whole community behind you, rooting for your success. Thanks for being awesome!" Never give up!!! Namaste form India 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love how the lessons was 'when you overthink the quality decreases' and that in chess that is kinda obvious(because you can clearly see when you tought a lot on the clock).. But this kinda applies to other things in life doesn't it?
Thanks Levy, I'll be there in person to cheer you on.

Levi, you will always be a GM to me. Thanks for showing us how to handle humbling experiences and to learn from them. Your dialogue with your chess coach was a beautifully instructive video because it was a lesson about life itself, not just chess.

Love this content, Levy is great as always and he found the perfect partner for this
This is something that I have a problem with too: Finding direction in a chess game. I am directionless, but I just started getting into chess again due to watching Anna Cramling. I haven't played since I was a kid. There was a lot of tactics and calculations I've never considered before when I was a teen. Now I'm 41 and doing it for a declining memory, which seems to help with the visualizations, but how do you overcome a directionless gameplay? I am just playing against 700 elo bots, but I have no direction at all. When I try to do an opening, it organically flows in an entirely different direction. Whenever I move my pieces, they aren't cohesive like the AI bots. So yeah, it's interesting that your problem is direction too.
@Eagle3302PL
29 күн бұрын
My problem in chess is that I play a lot of 4X games, and those games usually prioritize building up a strong base structure early and mid game, and picking 2-3 win strategies into the late game, as you acquire resources and snowball over time. Chess is the opposite, as the game goes on, your opportunity space and resources dwindle, and within 2 moves an entire strategy can collapse. So like the trainer said, I have to pick a strategy, commit to it so long as it's not been halted, and only go for tactics when there's opportunity. I don't have Levy's obsession with the center and passed pawns, but I do tend to attempt multiple tactics at the same time instead of having a concrete plan or goal.
RIP OthaChess

"Dont overthink, dont think about very big things like your place in the galaxy whatever" 🤣 i will never forget this

Truly one of the titles of all time
I have been here (following this amazing channel) for almost 2 years, the content gets better, the host looks healthier (both physically and mentally) , and I couldn't be happier to see the person who elevated my chess game (450->1600) get closer and closer to the Grand Master title. I believe you can do it , the community believes you can do it, and most importantly, you believe you can do it, thats why you started. Good luck Mr.Rozman!
