LEVOLOR Trim+Go, 2 Inch Faux Wood Cordless Blinds - How to Install Them, Unboxing, and Honest Review

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Welcome back to another exciting episode of The Brothers Workshop! In this episode, work continues on the Farmhouse restoration, Sean shows off the blinds the brothers chose to install for the Farmhouse's windows, and stick around until the end when he gives you an honest review and opinion of the LEVOLOR Trim+Go, 2 Inch Faux Wood Cordless Blinds.
The part number for the particular blind is: Levolor #929839
Dave found these LEVOLOR Trim+Go, 2 inch faux wood cordless blinds while wandering the isles of the local Lowe's home improvement store looking for replacement blinds for their friend Danny's home renovation, and called Sean to tell him about them. Figuring they would be a great improvement over the farmhouse's existing blinds the brothers replaced all of the blinds in the farmhouse with the LEVOLOR Trim+Go, 2 inch faux wood cordless blinds they purchased at Lowes.
This video details the last of the blinds that needed installed! Work is progressing at a rapid rate at the farmhouse, and we can't wait for it to be done so we can showcase the finished product!

At 6:23 - I thought this pieces was some type of tool to adjust the mechanisms within the blinds... As usual, I have over engineered it! Thank you for demonstrating this!🤯

Thanks for the video. It is very helpful. It’s Saturday today and Levelor support is closed to ask for information. I’m so glad I found this video. The product came with instructions on how to shorten the blinds but I’m afraid to mess it up. If you have time can you do a video on shortening the blinds. Thanks again. Have a great day. Dave

Can you tell us what the heck the piece is that is inside of our Levelor blind ? It has no instruction including it and I thought you might mention it. It is a narrow piece that is the width of the blind and it is thinner one the outside edges. Thank you for your help. Good video too !

I installed the same thing only 63" wide and 61" high. I first installed it at the very top of the interior of the window frame but then discovered that the internal mechanism was actually a tiny bit higher than the housing. So I redrilled holes a half inch lower and remounted it. Then the blind would not pull down (that may be why the internal mechanism swung above the housing). I returned it to the store and the replacement worked. I am yet to figure out how to install the control wand tightly so it will not fall out. Maybe it is supposed to be detached when not in use. Is that possible? Levolor makes a presentable venetian blind, I wish it were made a little better.

Hey bro'dudes, looked like a lot of extra length on that blind. That the type you can trim off and retie the lines?? Good show!

Hey!!! You can absolutely adjust the length of the blinds. Instructions to do so are included with the blinds. Maybe we'll do another video about that! 😜

@@TheBrothersWorkshop That was the whole reason why I watched this video. The buttons and string are the hardest part. The buttons don't want to come out much. The rope is too tight.
