This video explains episode 14 of Attack on Titan season 4, in which Levi defeats the Beast Titan and Eren betrays Armin and Mikasa. The Jaegerists continue to take control of Paradis island by recruiting more Survey Corps members to their ranks, whilst Zeke uses his spinal fluid to activate the pure titans. Meanwhile, Eren attempts to distance himself from his friends by telling Mikasa he hates her, but clearly not everything he's saying is the truth.

Episode 14 of AOT the final season was called Savagery.
Eren sits down to have a chat with Armin, Mikasa and Gabi cause she just happens to be there. From Eren’s perspective, he hasn’t had a proper conversation with his friends since before infiltrated Marley, so this meeting is a way for them to catch up. Eren reveals to the group that he spoke with Zeke whilst undercover in Marley and from that discussion, he learnt things about the Ackerman clan and how Bertolt’s memories are affecting Armin. Eren claims that the reason Mikasa is strong, is due to Ackerman’s being a genetically modified bloodline that can partially manifest the strength of a titan. According to Eren, the old eldian empire used to conduct many experiments on subjects of Ymir, with the Ackermans being a byproduct of those scientific tests. Ordinarily you’d think being a super soldier should be a good thing, but Eren’s problem is that Mikasa’s desire to protect him is due to her Ackerman blood. In other words, her attachment to Eren all these years has not been purely out of free will but rather she is supposedly being influenced by her Ackerman genetics. He provokes her by labelling Mikasa a slave that lacks her own free will. Eren follows it up by looking at Mikasa and stating he has always hated her ever since they were kids. Eren and Armin then fight.
Eren then orders his guards to take Gabi, Mikasa and Armin away, as all of them are going on a road trip to Shiganshina. We know from later in the episode that Shiganshina is likely where Eren and Zeke meant to meet each other as Zeke wonders if his brother still remembers the place they agreed. Assuming that eren does remember the right location, them him heading to Shiganshina is a bit of a giveaway.
Speaking of Zeke, the anime then switches over to the forest where he’s being held hostage, as Levi prepares to start cutting him up. To summarise Levi’s thought process here, he doesn’t want the military to eat Eren like Pixis is planning to do, but rather he wants to fulfil his promise to Erwin by feeding the Beast titan to someone instead. He plans to cut off Zeke’s limbs so that he can’t turn into a titan and then after that’s done, the beast will be fed to another person. Zeke’s royal blooded titan is the key that will allow eren to use the founding titan. In my opinion Levi’s judgement is clouded by his desire to fulfil that promise to Erwin and this is a rare example of him prioritising personal emotions over the survival of humanity within the walls.
From the moment Zeke was forced to turn into the beast he never stood a chance and there are a few reasons why. Firstly, altthough the beast titan is technically a monkey, Zeke is not capable of climbing trees or swinging away, which meant he was stuck to the ground whilst Levi was free to manoeuvre around him. Levi could therefore hide behind trees to evade whatever Zeke threw at him and he obscured Zeke’s vision by hiding behind the branches he chopped off Additionally, because there were no rocks in the area, the Beast desperately resorted to throwing titan body parts.
All things considered captain Levi was in control of this fight from start to finish and his thunderspears were enough to pierce the beast titans hardening in one go. When these two fought back in Shiganshina, the captain was so fast that Zeke didn’t have time to harden his nape, so it’s funny that this time he did actually manage to harden but it just didn’t mean anything. With the thunderspears detonating, the oldest Yaeger brother was turned into mushy human barely hanging on to life and in this state Levi is now ready to serve him up to someone who’s prepared to eat him.

I mean the only hint about floch being kind of insane is that scene where he brings erwins body from the battlefield for levi to turn into a Titan, he says that his reason that he wants Erwin to be a Titan is because he wants to bring him back so he can suffer more. And I can’t recall the exact quotes but he did actually say the words that he wants Erwin to suffer. I think that this event and the assumption that floch was probably traumatized from the whole battle anyways, I was not too surprised to see his change

Also because he felt that Erwin as a titan would be the devil that humanity needed. He also says something about that to Jean during the battle of Marley. That Eren is the destructive devil that Paradis island needs to succeed. So I think Floch hasn’t changed that much, he’s just gotten a lot more confident and power hungry. And also went from hating Eren to being one of his biggest supporters.

I think Eren planned everything. He made himself the villain in order to bring everyone together to go against a common enemy. He knew he didn’t have long to live and knew the only way to free Mikasa was to have her kill him. So he did everything in order to trick everyone to hate him and to come together to defeat him. By making himself the enemy he brought the world together.

12:06 Floch already showed he had courage in season 3 he just questioned if there was a meaning of them all charging to their death, at the end he still did it although Erwin gave them choices,,after that he stood out and explained to Levi why they should bring back Erwin, stood out against Mikasa and Eren at that moment, also he courageously confronted them all about their decisions to choose Armin instead, exposing their biases. If you think about it, old Eren, mikasa and all wanted Armin back mainly cause they were closer to him, Floch back then was already thinking about the sake of his people when wanting Erwin back instead..again now he is only thinking about his people

i was waiting for this tbh. honestly this show is strait up too dark. no one gets out unscathed, happy, or alive. as someone who is in their late 20s... the brutality of characters to endure and to dish out punishment is truly unmatched.

@@Unstable_Diffusion89 oh i meant it like. ive never seen a story , with this much brutality. like reading thru things like catch 22, johny got his gun etc. and all TV that encompasses ww2. levi's life goal is to euthanize his own race, so he killed countless soliders. levi kills hundreds of his own people and then cuts this man up limb by limb. eren cuts off his own and puts a bullet in to his left eye to infiltrate and them kill everything in libero.

Zeke rending the pure titan in half was meant as a sign of his relentless brutality and was also a last-ditch effort to get Levi to get caught up in his feelings for the titans that used to be his comrades. obviously tho it didn't work and Zeke got his ass handed to him.

Eren gives off huuuge Sasuke vibes in this episode, especially his chat with Armin and Mikasa, his cruelty towards them was very reminiscent of Sasuke’s cruelty towards Naruto and Sakura
Anyone remember in season 1 when Mikasa hit Eren? Mikasa technically had free will when she hit him. If she didn’t. She would not had hit him.

Hey just so you know Levi never has headaches because he was boundeD to his two friends from the underground who died. Kenny was probably bounded to the founding titan of Yuri. So thats probably why they dont get headaches

Wait.. aren't all Ackermans programmed to protect the founder? Mikasa and Levi both protect eren to this day. Even Kenny helped eren in the last minute because he has the founder. And only Mikasa has headaches which is odd

Why are people so suprised that floch is a power hungry extremist? He fits all the criteria. He is young therefore he is easily manipulated. He finds cameraderie in the yeagerists. Something he might not have had previously. He (at least in my opinion) wasn't very motivated or strong in season 3. Joining the yeagerists makes him feel like he is on the right side of history and this makes him motivated and strong.

Don't worry Historia will live. I am sure about that, you know why? The previous name she used, Krista, is directly derived from the Greek word Χριστή which means "she who is the anointed one". SPOILERS Something I’ve wondered for a while, see when it comes to the Beast Titan is it just the upper part that’s beast-like? For example do you think if you had a beast Titan that was part Bill would it just be thr upper part that’s bull like or would you have hooves instead of feet? Or if it was a wolf would it be paws?
