I am commenting this on my cell as the video plays on my tablet. So far, I would have to say I agree with your assessment and your thinking though as of the 24 minute mark, I see potential problems coming from the left flank but that would mean they would have to cross the center of the road. There are 3 avenues of approach for the armor I can see and two for the infantry if they are on foot. I guess we’ll see how things go.

Excellent, youve been given my seal of approval, this was a largely succesful battle with limited casualties compared to how fucked you were without real armor, there are some very small gripes but im very impressed Id like to complement you on how you decided to hold back reserves and used an armored rush to establish a deffensive strong point, and inadvertently made alot of killzones, you were able to use the javelins to thier full extent and wiped out the enemy armoured platoons and forced an enemy retreat/surrender while nearly annihilating thier infantry, the losses are few but would still be felt, and will be remembered as a costly victory. Ashame you didnt get any challengers I am no military genius so if anyone wanna talk tactics, id love to talk about dis, i just love tactics And 300th like

I think he didn't take the time to have a good position around the village. he put many infantry units in the open on the right, while he could have moved the frontline on the left and on the hills to the border of the map, ensuring a better javelin cover with less area to keep, wich could have prevented the T90 infiltration crushing the british line. basically the game was over when the tanks got to the woods.

@@Crusader_Lite yeah, not so bad for a very unbalanced battle, the enemy will most likely die on the british tanks divisions aftermath.

I kinda want some of the modders to make a star wars the clone wars mod for this

Hi Duplex when playing combat mission never try to move your infantry slow over a far distance because they'll become exhausted and they will be easier to kill by the enemy. By the way there are extra rounds for the javalins and machine guns etc in the vehicles which you can acquire via the Acquire button on the bottom of the UI menu

They run at realistic speeds. Keep in mind that it's insanely hot there, and they're running with 40KG. If you mean the running animations, yeah they don't sync with the actual speed they're going.

Great vid btw keep it up! Note: there a huge difference between an export model vs an export variant. Export model are there own tank lineage like the m60-2000 they are made completly for the export market. Export VARIANT ( which i will empahasize) is a variant of a specific tank. Ex. T-72M is basically a T-72 ural with the Fire control system of the T-72A. T-72M1 is basically a export T-72A. Its basically the same tank used by the soviet with some of its abilities removed and tailored to the specification of the client

This would be cool give yourself the most advanced army and give the enemy the worst

You should get some intense sound mods to make things even more spicey lol

This was exciting since AI is kind of bad, its nice to see you play an inferior force.

This is a good game but it’s not worth 60 bucks and the dlc’s are as much as men of war assault squad 2 this game is worth 20-30$ max I would get this game if it wasn’t that costly.

It worth the 60 . It’s super hard to do this sort of programming compare to call of duty’s. Graphics are cheap now day.

It's a great game, lots of depth and thought put in ofc, the problem is that this is the 10th game that works this exact same way... I figure it doesn't cost quite as much to do it the 10th time around.

Kally D true I did forgot they have been making this sort game for a while without major upgrade to the game engine. I still waiting for the fighter jet and helicopters.

Also, before you dismount infantry or other units from vehicles, go to S menu and go to "acquire", there you can equip them with extra amo and javelins and the like.

I love the game mechanics and the whole idea, it feels like playing Arma2 but overhead! However, the engine sucks so much that the visuals suck a lot! I wish they could make it nice looking just by employing the same game engine as the one used for Warfare 2013 (latest game Syrian Warfare 2020) Even now in 2021, the game looks so raw and unfinished! It does not worth the money they sell it for on steam since the game has graphical issues, such as resolution and multiple bugs.

Why didn't the Syrian Arty get called in on you? You out fitted them w/good arty. I saw no use by the Syrian AI of this asset. Otherwise kinda fun to watch.

Buildings are such a bad cover in this game, even small arms can kill you through the wall pretty easily. The best cover remain the high ground

For some fking reasons my infantry doesnt want to move in any conditions , and i turned mad and called GBU-12 on them . Do you know why they are not doing the orders (Yes i did alt+p so i see their waypoints) and it took 15 minutes and they didnt move

Do you get to steal Syria's oil fields like in real life?

40-100 bucks for a game that looks like the RTS version of the 1998 Medal of Honor, and has the UI of a game from 2004? Even has the framerate of the '98 MoH. Maybe if it was 20 bucks. Its current steam price is an absolute ripoff.

My man its pretty obvious you have nver heard of combat mission before this, as the prices on there store have always been high, and i agree with there decisions, the entire games engine was crafted from nothing by one dude, these games have been around since early 2000's and have adapted to the newer engine upgrades, The UI is better than men of war in certain aspects and has wayyyyyy more variety to what you can choose to do with your units scripting wise, there is alot to this game that is not appreciated nor even seen by MOW and COH rts players.
