Really pisses me off when videos about people shopping, vlogging and playing video games gets more views and likes than a video about a hero who actually puts his life on the line to protect us.

I've heard many infantry guy's say something to the extent of "I'm not a hero, I'm just a Marine" and I'm sure you sometimes feel like just a man, a Marine doing his job, but know to people like myself, you are a hero. Period. Selfless people like yourself give me hope and inspiration. Again, thank you for your service. In a time when all most kids seem to think about is how they're going to get rich or be a video gamer or whatever it takes a very good person to decide, "I'm not worried about getting rich and I don't want to sit around and get famous by playing video games. I'm going to wear the globe and anchor and take up the mantle of US Marine and do something for my country instead of asking what my country can do for me or sitting around on a couch pretending to be something." That alone is something, but to go down to the recruiter and sign up is truly something. Good luck to you and your son, and God bless. Same to all the other military members and their families, past and present, and to those who aspire to take their place amongst those who serve this great nation day and night, any time they are needed and any place they are needed and the families of those people who will someday be part of that same community. You are all in my prayers, and I am sure many others are praying for you as well.

When I was a Little Boy, I would write letters to my Mother telling her how much I loved her. At age 42 She passed away and it broke my heart. Later on going through Moms belongings I found those letters she kept all those years. Im happy Kyle that you have that special bond with your Mother, Just as I did with mine. It truly will last forever. Thank You for your service. A True Hero and a gift from God. Will always support you.

He is a super human, he is a marine, he is a hero. Thank you to all who serve this country, you are the reason we still have this country to be grateful for, you are my heroes. As I am sure many others feel the same way, but for those who have fallen, they will never be forgotten. They are always with us every day, they have given the ultimate sacrifice for this beautiful country, our rights, and our freedom. They are the untold history but not the forgotten. They are Americans.

I’m a trauma ICU nurse and it’s amazing to see the determination of the soldiers and their families to heal. When you first see them after their injuries, you don’t know how your going to put them back together or if it’s cruel to even try. He looks sad to be at home and not fighting, like an outdoor cat forced to stay indoors. It’s a hard adjustment mentally as it is physically. He should join a military support group online and help out others in his situation. You help yourself when you’re helping others and you get to be around like minded people.
