Could you imagine how much pressure they must have felt to get the sound of the horn right? gjallarhorn and the blowing of it has been built up throughout the much of the whole game, that's a lot of expectation, and still they delivered

I spent this entire game either crying, with goosebumps, punching the air in excitement or all fucking 3 at once 🤣🤣

So many moments in this game had me in awe, but finally making it to Ragnarok and witnessing Kratos charge through the door not caring what’s on the other side is everything I’ve been waiting for, for the last 4 years.

Kratos blowing the horn will go down as one of the most goosebumps inducing moment in gaming history.

The last time I felt such a powerful similar scene was when the entire fleet arrived in Mass Effect 3. Elden Ring is a masterpiece, but my Goty is definitely Ragnarök

That scene in Mass Effect 3 is awesome. That enormous fleet, all the races and armies you managed to gather fighting together was... something truly breathtaking to see.

The endings in Mass Effect 3 and the lights going through the galaxy were top tier gaming moment.

I was in tears during this scene. Absolutely phenomenal, and the soundtrack is outstanding. What an absolute masterpiece!

Bear McCreary is a legend in his own right ! 💁🏻‍♀️💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 this symphony just gave me chills and tbh he’s already there alongside John William’s, Hans Zimmer, Nobuo Uematsu as one of the greatest composers of all time ! ! ! 💁🏻‍♀️💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the score, the orchestra, everything about this game alone is topnotch like youre literally watching a movie with a triple A score💁🏻‍♀️💯💯💯

I need that gjallarhorn sound as my alarm tone.

I might be crazy but the Gjallahorn's sound is so similar to horn that Kratos blows while being in the desert of lost souls when calling Cronos out. Thats sound was soo spine chilling similar to this.

I already watched this scene multiple times and I still get Epic Chills up and down my spine. Reminds me of Avengers Portal Scene, Doom Eternal's Ancient Gods Part 2 beginning of the level, Immora, when the Sentinels arrive to backup the Doomslayer, and finally Godzilla's King of the Monsters the final battle between Godzilla and Ghidora when Godzilla marches through the ocean with a Navy Escort.

I love how the realm doors open one by one symbolizing all the realms coming together as one to put a stop to Odin for all the wrong that has been done to them. I got goosebumps badly when I first saw this part.

Crazy how Kratos blow the horn and the gates open for other Allie’s. What I love the most is the other Allie’s just rush in the door and start the fight 😂

with all respect to elden eing enjoyers this scene alone is worthy of goty

yea Elden Ring is a great game but like it just didn't have the same impact at all for me

I feel like Charlies is so genuine it really shows how video games are one of the most impactful forms of taking in media. The Reactions and immersion you get is like nothing else. Expect maybe books.

You know what imagine the game ending right there after he says ready yourselves and runs through and all goes white idk why but I’m like dang imagine the game ended here lol 😂

This gave me chills the first time I experienced it. I still get chills every time I rewatch it. Just goes to show how hype that scene is

I would NEVER have thought that I'd come to the point where I tear up because of a game, but I just couldn't resist. That orchestra playing, and then the sound of Gjallarhorn...oh man, SO GOOD!

I watched this scene so many times and I STILL get goosebumps. It was such a kickass and powerful scene. Honestly one of the best moments in the game!! This is game of the year for me!

There are many amazing scenes in this game, but I think this one is my favourite. I always get chills. The OST, acoustics, Gjallarhorn's sound, all the portals opening...! My god

I think that the next two videos you should make are Lets Player's reaction to uising Loki's Bear Spartan Rage and Kratos telling Atreus to open his heart to the suffering of the Midguardians. Those scenes are amazing. Keep up the hard work and try not to overwork yourself!

Man, even after all this time, I still got tears. They fucking nailed it and it's a powerful moment. We worked so hard in those 2 games to get exactly to that point! 10/10

The way the horn segways into the music is just amazing

The music man... the MUSIC! Every minute of the game feels like passionate people created it, you seriously can see that.

I cried, smiled, I had insane chills.. Can't even describe the intensity of this scene. The moment the gjallarhorn was blown and I heard the powerfull deep bass sound in my headphones man.. Godlike.

Haven’t got that big of chills when someone blew a horn since Gimbli blew it at helms deep.

This has got to be one of my favorite scenes in the whole game. The music, the dialogue, and the visuals are just beautiful

Kratos having to deeply inhale/exhale beforehand he's like we're about to step into some knarly stuff, this is it brave people, no backing out now. Let's head in there and mess peeps up. FOR BROK.

I remember the night i first time saw this i was laying down and all of a sudden my whole body was chilled this is hands down the best moment in gaming history ❤️

This scene is amazing. I love how the travel room comes into the GOW 2018 game early while it’s quite a quiet and abandoned ambiance surrounding it, and near the end of GOW Ragnarok when Ragnarok starts it’s back into the travel room, blowing the horn and seeing all the realm gates light up. The impact is so much bigger this way now the build up has been through two games instead of just one

Now don’t get me wrong, Elden ring may have taken the GOTY with multiple other awards but let’s be real, GOW:R would have TAKEN it had it released sooner. I get it, you can play Elden ring 8 times for various endings and whatnot but GOW has THE BEST OST, an AMAZING STORY, AMAZING CHARACTERS and BEAUTIFULLY made mechanics for combat. With all due respect, GOW won GOTY for me.

The Horns of the end would set

That soundtrack is just phenomenal, it really sells the emotional impact of the scene of uniting all the realms at once. And the epic bassiness of the sound of Gjallerhorn, sounds like a Viking horn, a call to battle. truly Game of the Year for me.

This game is incredible, god of war Ragnarok is basically Sony's version of Avengers Endgame And Odin is the Thanos of this game

The noise Gjalarhorn made is the best thing I've ever heard, especially with that music, I had chills through out the entire video.

I mean this in the best way possible Santa Monica Studios is probably going down as one of the best One Trick Pony gaming developers of all time. These cats have ONE SERIES to their name But through ingenious innovation of said franchise it won a GOTY HELL they literally almost won 2 GOTY’s with their 2 best entries in said franchise They are ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL

"Ready yourselves" Kratos runs into Asgard Fade to white "THE END BEGINS..." and roll credits Would've been fun lol

One of the most epic, heartfelt last act of a game i have ever played. From the moment you get into the tent. The writing and dialogue is better than 99 percent of all the movies out there, Incredible game.
