Sorry you to here you have been flooded. We live below sea level but at present are protected by a large sea wall. Last time this area was flooded was 1981 but nothing happened to us here. The work was magic like always. I wonder what had happen to the Decauville and the wait will be worth it. I just waiting for my shop to finish construction before my build can unfortunately start. I can't wait to get into the fun of filing and steam engine building.

Thanks Craig!!! First,... nothings really Happen in my workshop. I have to clean up and rebuild parts of our home after the flood Event in July.... the Cracker Series is made maybe a year ago... so i give it to you all every saturday to shorten the waiting for Decauville.... it will be continued in winter Season! Thanks for your comment. The gears comes via Ebay. M 0.7 x 10 z (1x) and M 0.7 x 40 Z (3x) in Plastic they are cheap... in steel or brass... they cost about 12 € per each. The Flywheel Was made 2 years ago for my first cracker project, that never comes to finish. You can see it on my Video, i made The rolling road. I had no Video footage about it, but i am pretty sure there will be more future projects where i can show something simillar. Stay healthy James! 👍

Hello Graham. Thanjs for your question! And thanks for your interest. It took me a while, to find out that the gears in the plans have the wrong applications! The 3 bigger ones has to be (metric) 40 Theeth an a Module of 0.7 The small one has the same Module but just 10 theeth. That will fit the plans! You can get them in any Material via Ebay. Maybe plastic can be used by beginner. But i used steel.... something about 12,00 to 15,00 € per each.... in plastic its way cheaper.... somthing about 3 € per each... Stay healthy! @@dreamsteam8272 habe auch mal in die Baupläne geguckt. Aber die Zahnräder mit der Zähneanzahl und dem Modul 1 nirgends gefunden.

@@SB-100 das Stimmt! Es müssen, wenn man die Eigenschaften Durchmesser/ zähnezahl/ zahnhöhe... etc... berechnet, Zahnräder vom Modul 0.7 sein! Habe sa auch ein halbes Studium absolviert, um das herauszufinden 🤣🤣 Danke für den Kommentar! Das hilft auch anderen weiter!

@@dreamsteam8272 If the drawing is scaled up from the original 32mm gauge Cracker, then it is indeed MOD 0.7 gears that should be used. I managed to succcesfully laser cut some from stainless steel on my fiber laser but they can also be sourced from Aliexpress. I sell chassis kits for 32mm Crackers but I'm also working on making kits for a 45mm gauge version (app. 7/8ths scale). kzread.infoz2QA6EQYDEI

@@epilotdk All other dimensions are about a 45 mm.... so a mod.1.0 is wrong! Or the plan should say that... in this scale it is 0.7 mod.

Hola, entregué las piezas encontradas en Ebay. tienes que comprar 3 x engranajes de modulo 0.5 - y 40 dientes. y una vez módulo 0.5 - y 15 dientes. también están disponibles en latón

Hola, Los engranajes que he encontrado son de 0,5 de módulo, 40 dientes y un diámetro de 21 mm. Es correcto. Perdone por las molestias.

Die Übersetzung ist ca. 1-4 die großen Zahnräder sind M-0.7x40z und das kleine M-0,7 x 10z Demnach macht ein kompletter Kolbenweg eine viertel radumdrehung.... somit eine ganze Drehung durch 4 Kolbenwege
