Building an engine is something I hope to take on as an additional facet of my hobby when I retire. I’d have lots to learn.
very cute! well laid out and a model anyone would love to have!
This is clearly the most beautiful "Ellie" i hawe ever seen! That last with clip reminds me of when i had to mount a replacement lightholder inside the front of an old Hornby 0 gauge locomotive... ha ha
A wonderful piece, I really look forward to see it running!
well thats a treat! what a pretty engine. thanks for making a video series
Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas!
Beautiful! Very well done Sir! Greetings from Southport
It's a Beauty. You leave us with "persistence", keep fighting. Thanks.
Fantastic work!
That is one gorgeous little tram loco 👍👍👍 You should be well pleased with that. I have enough trouble with 8BA nuts, if I dropped a 10BA I'd never find it! Cheers, Alan.
great work, thank you for making the video
Very nice work

Small trains are the best
Yep. I got caught with the LOCTTLF as well. Mine is LOCTTLF 401.
15:10 actually the correct answer is 0 (zero) :) I call "drop" when it falls to the floor of same color and good luck to find it... :)
🔧😊👍
you really have big fingers Roberto
Amazing model, well done. Can you reveal what kind of paint are you using for the steel parts?
@myfordboy

Phoenix precision paints applied with Badger 350 airbrush.
Very interesting & instructive. Your engine & burner are of particular interest. Have you made the drawings for them available. If not could I ask you to consider doing so.

I did not make any drawings for my own model. It's a lot of work to produce a set. I could do it if there was enough interest.
Looks like something from mamod
Does the butane in the burner help keep the batteries from getting hot?
@myfordboy
2 жыл бұрын
They don't get hot. I have the boiler mounted on 4 thin stainless studs so not to tranfer heat so easily.
Bad day
locobreque?
Still haven’t seen the couplers in action. The video of the train on the track doesn’t give a sufficient view either. Is it a symmetrical, (mutual) coupler? Does one couple with an identical unit, or to an “opposite number”? Maybe I’m overthinking all this, and your coupler is merely cosmetic.
Are these plans only in metric, or do they have an imperial set too? I know it’s not your design! :)
@myfordboy
Жыл бұрын
Only metric but it's easy to substitute imperial materials like bore and crankshaft sizes.All my tooling is imperial.
