Very clever on how you achieved making rivet dimples. Making rivet dimples is usually made with a rivet press which has to be built. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing work as usual Chris, great method for putting the rivet heads into the sheet. When I saw the title and thumbnail, I thought "I wonder how many small drills got sacrificed" lol. Well done. Cheers, Jon

Thanks Jon.... 🤣 yes, some Time ago, i tryed to make Real rivets in 1,5 mm with 1,8 mm head. But a Single punch to hard, and it does not Look right.... and.... its a lot of work.... So i decided to make them fake.... but nice... Stay healthy friend!

Very pretty indeed. I couldn't help noticing how much deflection you got in your drill press table during the forming operation. The camera always shows this up but it's less noticeable to the operator.

I have convertet Dave Watkins wild rose plans from 16mm narrow gauge to 45 mm You can find by search. Theyre for free !

Great result! Love the punch in the drill press idea. Did you do any marking to get the spacing nice and even or was this 'just' by eye?

There are two holes in the "jigg" One to give space to the punsh, and one slidley bigger to set the last rivet in, to punsh the next one

Wenns ein einfaches Prinzip sein soll.... dann die quarry hunslet wild rose von Dave Watkins.... ansonsten gibt es auch sehr detaillierte aber sehr komplizierte von JPDuvaal

@@dreamsteam8272 die Wild Rose ist ja 32mm Spur. Wurde der Plan hochskaliert oder einfach nur die Spur verbreitert?

@@SB-100 wenn du jedes Maß im Plan erst in mm umrechnest, und dann mit 1.4 multiplierst ... kommst du auf die nötige Skalierung zu 45 mm .... Ein wenig auf und abrunden hier und da.... nur die Spur verbreitern geht hier nicht. Da die Achsen gerade so breit wie der Rahmen sind, dann musst du eh das ganze Gestell ändern....
