Charlie - I just became one of your subscribers. We've traded a few comments on the Cardinals and "X" in recent weeks. You made some good points so I decided to follow the trail to your KZread channel. This was a pretty good broadcast, it kept my attention. Except for the recent developments of "The Fan" shutdown last Friday. I was born in St. Louis and spent 4 decades there before being relocated out west with my career. (Salt Lake City, Denver, S. California & Arizona) I've managed to stay in the same state now that I'm calling the shots instead of the corporate world. So maybe you can fill me in on the 5.90 "The Fan." You were impressive in your broadcast......I'll be back.

Man I found hot take central about 2 years ago looking for cardinals content back when Cam didn’t know anything about baseball and he wasn’t watching the games. Came for the cardinals content stayed for you guys. your group feels so random and that’s what made it amazing. Hope you guys could do maybe live stream podcast or something so you guys can still interact with listeners in real time

If the Cardinals just had the offensive numbers they’ve averaged the last couple of years they would have about 60 more runs which would make a big difference. July could be a good month with the teams they are playing.

Charlie, I just noticed that you posted this under the HTC podcast. Does this mean you’ll be posting your Cards segments on there now? Also, I’d love to hear both the old (Seth, Nate) and new HTC crew discuss things on KZread or any platform.

yo! I was trying that out because I’d never used that particular podcast host site before. I’d like to buy that podcast platform from Dave Z if possible. so we’re discussing that and if I buy it - I’ll post on HTC and probably add a few other shows, thx!

My suggestion is to first stay where we can hear you and second I wish you could do a Pod with Bernie. Guy is awesome.

Charlie, Gorman needs to concentrate on making contact and hitting singles. The home runs will happen. A batting average under .260 in unacceptable let alone below .200. We still need a "good" hitting coach.

As Brenden said to me on a reply on his podcast when I said he second guesses himself a lot just as I do, that this team is kind of bi-polar and trying to figure out what’s next is close to impossible. I have gone back and forth thinking we could take the division and then two weeks later saying they might not even be a wild card team. Seems the whole organization doesn’t know which way is up. The fewer fans at the game, the podcasts and everything else seems a little out of the norm right now. Hopefully everything will straighten back out eventually.

I’m not sure. I talked with Bernie today via email. they’re looking for a new place to host their podcast and that host may want exclusivity. so it’s unclear. I’d love to have it back on. not sure tho. I’m gonna ramp up my own Cards talk tho also. I’ve been slacking lately and my local sponsors want Cards talk so that works well.

The beginning of the season I stated they could get to 90 wins if they were around .500 at the deadline. To be honest I expected them to be a game or 2 below .500 around that time which they could be still but I’ll take the over under right now. Making the necessary Moves will determine if that 90 mark is possible.

If I ran the ship I’d let Carpenter (security blanket for aging, underperforming vets) be a coach and give Luken a shot. As for the historically horrific Gorman, give him and his hitting gurus an ultimatum. Learn how to hit the ball with authority wherever it’s pitched or be gone. Guy needs to study Vladimir Guerrero senior. Weary of Gorman’s act. Go Cardinals. Hitting would be nice.

I would like to see a KZread version of the old "Sportswriters on TV" that ran on Sportschannel Chicago back in the 1980's, and 90's. But centered around St. Louis sports of course. The only caveat is two of the commentators have to be old farts, Miklasz and Jeff Gordon, I''m tired of paying the P-D $45 a month, just to read Gordon. It would only need to be a weekly show. Sorry to see KFNS fold. I enjoyed many of your shows.

they dont need starting pitching they need to platoon both goldy an nado start by batting goldy 9th... nado bench him against rightys and bat him 7th call up koperniak now call up prieto and saggese let the future play now no matter how painful.... goldy and nado checked out a long time ago when they became multi millionaires hungry players that are aggressive is whats needed

Please just stay away from 101. I like that you can give an honest take on the Cardinals and other sports topics. Danny Mac is the only one over there who goes against the grain, and he's only on for a couple hours a week.

I am all digital at this point & I love it! I might do something here and there with Kilcoyne but not sure yet, I'm open to it though... Anything radio would be 1-2 times per week max. My KZread stuff is a full-time job, thx Run!

Haven't watched video yet...that said of mozo can get the dewitts to give him the green light, whatever it takes to sign burnes in the winter. I'd draft Hagan smith , then trade for crochet/luzardo. Then the having no front line starters problem is solved for the next decade or more hopefully. Let the kids figure it out on offense and roll into 2025 with burned, gray, one you traded for then in 2026 Smith comes along. Also trade helsley before he walks. Players who lose arbitration like he already has rarely if ever sign a new deal with said team
