Love the run the Cards are making. As a Vancouver Canucks fan I was disappointed with the Oiler/Canuck series but being a Northwesterner Charlie, I had to root for the Oilers. Besides that up here in the PNW the joke is your city should not be allowed to be in the NHL unless you have at least 3 or 4 snow days a year. St. Louis Blues qualify, but the Panthers do not. LOL. Keep up the good work, the only thing I was disappointed in last night was that the fans did not give Contreras a standing ovation for coming back early but it is great to have a guy back in the lineup who can throw runners out at second base. Go Cards.

I really enjoyed the Cup Final. I thought the outcome of the game was a 50/50 toss up it was so close. I really did not care which team won other than happy for the Thackzuk family. Announcers pointed out the massive deal Florida made with Calgary to get Matt Thackzuk and how he has been so valuable. It was reported the Blues were in the mix for such a deal but Armstrong would not part with Kyrou.

Some arms to consider! SP: Fedde.. Tyler Anderson.. Cal Quantril.. not a lot out there to upgrade with RP: Taylor/Tyler Rogers either or.. Chad Green.. Tanner Scott.. Mike Kopech.. again not a ton to work with.. maybe if Quinn Mathews continues to dominate lower levels taking a flyer on him later in year… but Mo has a lot to do here soon

I have been pessimistic all season….watching the 9th inning I was laughing saying this is the first blown save about to happen…then I was forward thinking saying the Braves will sweep…team will then take two steps back again. That fight last night in the ninth showed me that maybe I’m wrong. Maybe this team is somewhat good. Not great but good. They are another 1-2 proven top tier starters and a legit middle of the order bat that is feared. Maybe Burleson is starting to develop into that? This team still hasn’t proven to be feared. They still lack that intimidation to opposing teams
@boschlosser10Ай бұрын
Retool the the pen and the rotation.. unfortunately because of contracts Goldie and Nado will continue being 3-5 hitters when really they should be 5th or 7th with Donnie in between them

Sunday afternoon vs the Giants…..and only 37,400 attend? What’s up with that?
@randybarrett4195Ай бұрын
The Cards can keep it going with these players but now you bring in another team of player. You just mentioned five guys that will have to go. Herrera is batting .320 and Pages is the best receiver. I would like to keep them both but Contreras will play because he makes the most money. Siena will be replaced by noot, Edman will replace Carlson, and the red birds are back to too many players.

@@greatone275 I agree!!! My comment was just how Isringhausen used to make me nervous, but he eventually got the job done. And I think relying on just one "closer" isn't going to work for 162 games anymore. Bruce Sutter was in 70 games and had 36 saves for the whole season for the '82 World Champion Cardinals. Helsley has already appeared in 35 games this year. Definitely worried about wearing him out!

Thought you’d retired! LOLZ. Where my Low Hanging Fruit video at? Our heat index in Austin this afternoon is 111. “KEEP YOUR PETS INSIDE”. Lightweights! Until they reach the 10 games over threshold I don’t think “Postseason” should be mentioned. That’s called “cubbing”. We’re not halfway, Charlie. This team has a lot of gaping holes. Imagine ONE of the 3 most reliable SP’s gets a bad hammy or an ab strain. Cards need to try and get TWO SPs even if one is a marginal addition. Then you could have a long RP and back up SP, or you could shelve Lance Lynn & get him some injury list time to rest up for September when the race and wins, Home Field, all matter. Hate the balanced schedule. STUPID.
