Indeed he is, but only the old/original one as he has charm and is quite cute. I don't care much for the "new" Basil actually.

1:30-1:37 is so funny. I enjoy Basil’s laugh on that joke. 5:18-5:27 ‘My uncle Bertie’ Hahahahahaha.... Boom! Boom! 6:47-6:54 ‘He Batters Fish’ Hahahahahaha! 8:30-8:33 ‘A Bear Face Cheek’ Hahahahahaha

I think Basil Brush in this incarnation is billions of times better than the 2000s Basil Brush incarnation Howard Williams bless him tries to be kind to Basil despite Basil been trying and at times rude interrupting the story Basil is a classic fox boom boom lives forever .
