The correct date is Tuesday 17th May 1994
I didn't mind the C4 Schools era but it got awful when renamed 4Learning.
This just reminded me of Alice in wonderland ride in Blackpool
Who knew that WWW would be stand for the world wide web
Is that Lofty ‘get a piece of bracken’ Wiseman?
This is the version of the theme I fondly remember. The 1982-1988 version was very forgettable.
Depending on 'atmospherics' we could sometimes pick up Yorkshire TV in my hometown of Cambridge. On such occasions I loved to listen to their startup music!
This does take me back. We would watch Cuckoo Waltz in Terry and Pams and Pam would wear a very revealing number and suggest we play parlour games in't nude , oh it were ever so good.
Great content! Do you have any episodes of BBC schools programme Square One Television? Helen Lederer presented it in 1992. Thanks
No I Don't Sorry,,
I have also found Reckoning - kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIqar6Szp9GYeJs.htmlsi=U2D6WZ5IWpz5kZf7
I know they made a comeback in 2013. Haven't seen any of the shooting gallery since then.
Thank you so much for the heart and thumb. I remember watching the shooting gallery in the early hours of a Monday morning. Now all they show is that rubbish. Come dine with me. Who the hell wants to watch people arguing and sticking food down their gubs.
This is the one I remember from when I was a child. I really cannot remember the last time I watched Television...maybe 10 or 15 years ago. These days most of my viewing takes place on KZread. Live Television has just become so unbearable, so I'm living in a 70s/80s/90s bubble rewatching old stuff from wherever I can find it
Question.could you receive Granada television in the Yorkshire area?
Very Very Very Faintly Not Very Watchable
Same edition of W+P that featured in Threads (1984)
12:03 for a guy who’s not good with girls, he’s not bad with wives. 15:31 is that a push-up bra or am I just happy to see her?
is manchester still the derilict these days? not knocking it, just a curious American 😔
Poor comedy. Not even Diane Keen - between the hysterical canned-laugher and Coronation Street accents - is enough to keep me watching.
I want to go back to school!
when did the animation credits start
Where's the Channel 4 Schools continuity stuff after The Shooting Gallery?
Tuesday 24th September 1996
loved the music when the clock counted down
Not my cup of tea unfortunately.
A typical unfunny ITV sitcom. Why is it that in that ITV sitcoms, with exception of a few, made absolutely shite sitcoms?
There was nothing else back then. Only 3 channels. Any old sh!te would do. Things now are completely different.
Agreed, things are completely different now and still shite.@@birdman4274
@@simonlevett4776 Yes mate. Don't get me wrong though, there's some shite on TV now too. Probably more because there are so many channels 🤣🤣
You obviously don't get 'Manc' sarcastic,dry humour!!🙃🤔
Out came the school TV, wrapped in wooden doors, perched on 4 wooden, elongated legs. We sat cross legged on the gym floor, waiting patiently for it to spring into life. We never knew what to expect back then. How I miss that innocence and wonder.
David Roper later turned up in EastEnders on BBC1 in about 1994 or so along with Michelle Fowler, although he and she had both left by the following year so then too at the time. Thank you too!
YES! YES! YES! Or Bullseye 1988-89
First time I heard this was in 1977 , posted to RAF Scampton. So many memories.
I used to watch The Big E just to catch a glimpse of Rhonda Cameron.
What year is this?
If you listen to the clip ,the answer is right there!
@@anthonybailey1966 1993. I must have missed it first time round.
The man in the ad resembles Jim Carrey, this is how he also looked during the 90's.
That Northern Uproar song made No.41. Rollercoaster its called and was in 1995. The parent album made No.22 a year later.
Always watched this on my black and white TV while the parents were in bed and i kept the volume down!🤣🤣🤣. I had a friend who worked on this show (I think she did, but did work at the old TV AM/MTV Camden Lock studios).
It's like watching it at the cinema.
Wrote the theme tune, sang the theme tune, little britaian , Dennis waterman 😂
I remember the deck chairs in the sitting room
Love theme tune ,
This Start-up was first broadcast before the the film 'The Battle of Britain' was released. As TheMasterNo6 stated it is unmistakable Goodwin. I would hazard a guess that it was commissioned by Yorkshire TV as you can hear Ilkley Moor baht 'at within the music.
I love this advert when I was kid. I thought I need a car like that when I older if can have a woman like that . Did eventually have a 306 d turbo 3 door love the car not that practical with a baby seat. Still would have another one 11 years later not dated in my eyes. One of favourite cars I had. And had alot of cars.
Remember this as a 8 year old. Lol
Audio Played: Fiesla Películas
In my primary school the staff room doubled as the TV room. This music brings back memories from the early 1980s of sitting cross legged and the waft of second hand cigarette smoke floating around.
This is brilliant I love these recordings
I don't think I remember this one - Doesn't look like I missed much, TBH.
I used to mask the bumpers for the 306 ready for priming, I liked the job ...
