That's Oblivion in a nutshell. In a way, it makes complete sense as a music choice for that moment. With time, I actually started to find Oblivion music eerie, since it represents well the cheerful surface of Oblivion, while the game can get decently dark at times. I.e., drowned guy in a well.

I just love that Arthur is screaming "Emperor, save me!" and that madman Uriel actually does it. Uriel motherfucking Septim VII just backstabs the hell out of a cultist to save Arthur. I wonder if Arthur will remember that moment when he turns over a new leaf.

When I seen this in my sub feed I was like "Noo waay!" This brings back so many memories. Your Oblivion playthrough was how I was introduced to this amazing channel and have been around ever since (: Hopfully this time though, all goes well with the mods and we can see a conclusion to are new hero.

Seems thematically appropriate that the emperor would refer to the end of the main quest as a "dawn" when you're playing a character who would do most of his work at night

Still think oblivion has one of the best openings. When that oblivion music starts I still get goosebumps. Takes me back to my childhood.

I've just discovered your channel through your new J'zeera series, I'm now coming back to watch your earlier stuff, and, man, that Bayeux intro is a god damn work of art. I have never seen a more perfectly constructed longplay introduction. Fucking flawless. If I ever created something of this quality I would feel so proud of myself. I hope you do.

This has got to be the coolest intro to a series I think I’ve ever seen. Super well done. Love the old school art, the narration was excellent, and the backstory to your character is interesting. Can’t wait to binge this series!

As a matter of fact, I did watch your whole intro, & I was impressed 😊

EDIT The PS:T music sounds weirdly good in the start dungeon. They're such drastically different games that I would not have expected it. Also somehow, Arthur doesn't look like a potato. Considering, especially, that you haven't installed face/head mods the results are pretty damned impressive.

These intros you make, and the like, are why your Let's Plays are generally a head and shoulder above most of the ones floating out there. These deserve more views than they get for sure.

Watching from the start "wow the cutscenes are way better than I remembered!" ""Wake up, we're here. Why are you shaking? Are you ok? Wake up." Ah shit just Dave's mad video skills again... Few things... 1)played the skyrim Dragonborn DLC the other day and got confused when I didn't get cutscene at the end, like the bloodmoon expansion, then realised I saw one cause of your skyrim LP and thought it was real! 2) I'm so happy to see you go back to your roots, I usually leave snarky comments if anything blah blah but going through hard time blah blah glad you came back to Oblivion. Thanks mate :)

I'm so happy to see this, and so nostalgic to hear that Planescape Torment music playing in the dungeons again. Amazing intro and roleplay, I hope I get the chance to follow the episodes as they go on with Morrowind as well. Your channel is all I need!

After watching that introduction that you threw together, its clear you spent a great deal of effort in putting this video together. I appreciate this, thank you for creating this solid piece of entertainment.

I started by watching ep 63, then began ep 64, then decided I'd watch from the beginning. I liked the intro quite a bit. The way you punctuate everything with "UM!" reminds me of my dad, but he only does it sometimes. You do it constantly. You made it into the suggestions for people who watch a ton of Bethesda content. Congratulations. I've even subscribed, though it'll be a little while before I'm current.
