Let's Play Hardspace: Shipbreaker - (3) Time is Money

Ойындар

Hardspace: Shipbreaker Gameplay / Let's Play 3 featuring our first real shift! We have our first upgrade into our helmet, we have repaired our equipment, and we have our first ship. 15 minutes on the shift, clock is ticking before I suffer a 600k bill for existing. Let's see what we can cut outta this rig without detonating, asphyxiating, electrocuting, incinerating, crushing, vaporizing, decompressing, or 'processing' ourselves.

Finally had some time to get through my backlog of stuff to watch this. Nice. :) Looking forward to Round 4. Though this makes me think. How fast would it look like if there was even one extra player helping to salvage. Though the issue would become that likely the earnings would be split between multiple people. The trade-off for extra help being a pay slash in essence. Especially if no one's got the super expensive rental reducing perks and upgrades. This likely means that smaller classes of ships or low paying ones in general are simply not viable in the extreme. Still, the mental image of three-four Cutters going to town on a ship is particularly desirable and hilarious, especially if coupled with comedic buzz saw and piranha sound effects overlaid on a fast-forwarded timelapse of a shift. I mean, in roughly twenty or so minutes, you alone picked apart a small ship of the most important bits. Couple that with some good teamwork and a plan, a bigger ship could be taken apart faster probably.

Man when this goes on sale next I really do have to get it. Its oddly relaxing, even with the chance of being blown up, skewered by glass, or billed into unrepayable debt.

Yeah the only nerve wracking things happen when you make a critical error. I did a little freeplay and cut apart a Gekko. I pulled the coolant and forgot the fuel lines were empty. Reactor went critical in its housing. I started split-saw cutting like a madman through EVERYTHING I could. I got to the son of a bitch and tethered it to the barge double time, ripped out the plates as it went. Fortunately I had disconnected all the fuses and had a large amount of time, else I would have been vaporized. You can also get scared to hell when you push and get thrown yourself into the processor or furnace while STANDING on the breaks. Haven't gone in yet, but inches man...inches.

@@OblivionArrives Well with the slight gravity well that the furnace seems to have...yeah thats scary.
