The ratio of likes to dislikes on Simon's Cat videos are simply unreal, I don't think I've watched any other series where so few people leave dislikes. Simon's Cat is a testament to popular appeal and quality.

The fact that these videos have almost no words makes them very good for foreign peoples

Am ESL, can confirm. I had watched these since the first episode just came out and at that time I was at Elementary/Beginner. Last time I checked I was at B2/C1 threshold and rewatching these now doesn't feel any different.

I always love it when everything's going normal and then there's that moment of suspended reality with Simon's cat.

Again, Simon captures the soul of a cat. The funny thing is, these things do happen.

Basically true... but the percentage of the time when they are awake and being "dicks" is insignificant compared to the times when they are being sweet! (And really, they sleep like 20 hours a day, so you don't have to deal with too much nonsense. lol)

Hmm... Dunno... It certainly couldn't have anything to do with the fact that cat is an a-hole.

I can totally relate to this... my cat hates being left outside the toilet. He has to know what I am doing. if I'm silly enough to leave the door open slightly, he makes sure when he comes in, the whole door opens completely... and leaves me sitting on the potty

every morning my cat scratches and meows at the bathroom door until i let her in (sometimes i forget until i'm in the shower)--once in, she jumps ;up on the sink and meows until i turn on the WATER for God's sake! .....so she can splash and play in it.

When we're eating fish we have to lock the door to the kitchen. Then the scraping begins...

that scratchy noice with the claws on the door, got the most horrible chills!

If I was Simon I would scream. I hate being locked in places, knowing I can't get out. 🔒

Goober Fries They are very intelligent and playful animals. They need cat toys and play-time. If you kitty seems clingy etc, then he/she needs that. The toy that looks like a fishing pole with feathers and a bell at the end is a great way to give the cat both fun and exercise! If you play a little (swirl it around, and up and down and across the floor etc. Think of a mouse or bird) then let it catch it a few times, and do it before you feed the cat, then it will feel it “caught” it’s meal and will be more satisfied and not so clingy. Of course, you may also have a very affectionate cat and it may do better with a kitty companion

And just because most people there don't understand Russian doesn't mean that it is forbidden to speak it.
