I saw Jon Robyns in this show October 2022 and I will NEVER forget it. He was simply perfect for this role. And what a voice!
3:50, I love how Jon Robyns’ voice changes here from soft to powerful 🥲❤️ What an amazing Valjean!!!!
I was fortunate to see this cast in the west end a few weeks ago. It was, by far, the best performance I have ever seen, and expect to see, in my life. The cast was outstanding. It was absolutely phenomenal. Flight tickets to the UK would have been worth it if that was all I’d been able to do/see - that good. It’s a good thing I don’t live in London or I’d go broke seeing it repeatedly.
Loving the casual stroll to war, feels like a beautiful spring day
As much as this was good....I'm afraid my ❤ is with the current UK Tour cast. The tour is the best production of this wonderful show I have ever seen. If its coming to a theatre near you go and see it....you will not regret it! Regardless, I always cry when they wave the red flag 🚩

I've seen Les Mis 3 times within the past year, saw it on the 24th of June (Friday just gone) when Jessie (fun fact, she's also ensemble and wig maker) was covering for Eponine, I've been lucky enough to see both her and Sha and they are incredible and the entire cast deserves so much love
I'm seeing this show when I'm in London in August forgot when not sure if it's the 13th or the 14th of August but I'm seeing it and so excited.Les Miserables is one of those musicals in our family it will never get old.
Vocals were magnifique! Bravo! 🇫🇷💙🤍❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Saw this cast in the west-end last night - blown away by the performance. Jon Robyns as Jean Valjean was incredible - easily the best performance in a musical I've ever seen.
This last song gives me chills every time I see it! AMAZING PRODUCTION EVERYONE!
Great I love "Les Miserables".It is an Amazing Musical.
Jon Robyns amazing as always!
Absolutely brilliant
That was "marching"? Looked like a move I did in my high school jazz choir.
That enjolras is INCREDIBLE
Back again and STILL brings tears to my eyes!
Excellent.
Sha, you are fantastic !!
Amazing as always and glad JVJs 🎤 didn't play up like last year. Love this cast. The marching/strolling choreography of ODM might get some getting used to though.
I just love this show with my whole entire heart!

I left les miserable at my house in June so to see Les miserable on west end live it will Bring back loads of memories
Saw the cast Saturday was blown away magical
I saw les mis in feb
Yeah thanks Jon. Even watching via KZread I need tissues, damn you 😍😍
Sha Dessi is a superstar.
Who was this Valjean? He was brilliant, not many except Colm Wilkinson manage the falsetto in Bring him home

@@suzannerae7124 Alfie Boe was good, but he's an opera singer. He sang well, but his acting was so over the top it was almost comical. All the gestures, facial expressions and so on were really overdone, especially at the beginning of the show (I saw him in the 25th anniversary show on youtube)

Yes, saw him live last month and honestly his "Bring him home" that night was phenomenal- the applause lasted ages. Think he even also holds his mouth just like Colm too, so similar!!
incredible
Hey the microphone worked for j robyns!! (Look up last years performance reference)
Sha Dessi - you smashed that!!!
Goosebumps🙂
Bravura!
I’m privileged to say that I went to the same secondary school as Charlie Burn who played Cosette here! ❤️
Enjolras is my favourite
Either mics are better (NOT talking about jvj moment last year) or jordan shaw’s voice has become stronger

He covered JvJ a couple of times (can be found on KZread) unfortunately a lot of the notes are too high for him and he couldn't quite reach it. I think he's best suited to Enroljas

♥️ xxx
Had to come back for AT LEAST .......ONE DAY MORE!
THe Old Sound is BAck
Love you guys!
Since when was Fantine in One Day More?
I do respect musical theater actors but leah Salonga version is still. One of the best performances
Why fix something if it ain't broken... that choreography is just odd.

Agreed. Absolutely awful. Turned an amazing powerful song into a mess
What happened to the choreography of One Day More?? When and most of all why did they change the original marching? Over all this was an ok performance. Nothing compares to the cast of the 10th anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall!
@chrisfarr2485

The drunken casual stroll instead of marching ruined the whole song for me
I adore this but have to agree the new choreography is wired!!!
I can hear how tough Eponine is...
Dancing Enjolras
I really enjoy this musical
Great voice gave me shivers BUT some tho technically good not all gave me the feels, obvs u want good vocals but also a balance that doesnt sound regimented & overly rehearsed/forced
This will ways be marvelous... BUT WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ONE DAY MORE???? The choreography is cringe, how can they do this to such a classic... Jeez. I loved JVJ's voice ♡

It's funny because Enjorlas was really that excited to start the revolt xD
@andrewbloom7694
2 жыл бұрын
I've seen a few people say this and maybe it's just cause I usually listen to the 10th or 25th anniversary albums where they stand at a mic the whole time but the song is literally exactly the same? They gave Fantine one line at the beginning for the trailer. That's the only difference
@amikireicraftstore
2 жыл бұрын
@@andrewbloom7694 Well, the way they "march" towards the war used to be somber, strong slow paces, they knew they were going to die and the meaning of "One day more" is the cast realizing "Now or never, we will probably die, but we must do it". The change to that kind of energetic almost dance like walk changes the tone of the moment, Enjorlas is leading with strength and resolution, not with a huge smile. Just look for different versions and you will see the change, we noticed for a reason c:

Still not keen on the new staging or the voices except JVJ to be perfectly honest. I am a 2013-15 fan. They had the best cast, Carrie, Rob, Bradley and Anton, Peter, Geronimo and Dan as the JVJs but thats just my opinion. I remember the audiences going wild when it was Les Mis section. They did look like they were going to war not a stroll down the Champs-Elysees.
Sorry guys. Not as good as before.
Love les mis and watched over 40 times live but was very underwhelmed with this performance. Eponine singing on my own was poor. Lines sounded spoken or shouted. The the huge disappointment was the choreography to one day more. It’s supposed to be a March to war, looked like a casual and drunken stagger home from the pub, awful !

HOT VALJEAN
I know this is controversial but Jon Robyns is the best Valjean. I know people love colm Wilkinson but to be honest I don't like his voice at all, it sounds like a drunk winnie the pooh and that's just not Jean valjean
Looks like a camp walk along the prom instead of marching to the Barricades. Dreadful - worst West End Live performance of Les Mis I've seen.
Ma che sto orrore tutto tagliato canzoni messe a caso
When tf did Fantine end up with a line in One Day more?😂
