What I love to see is how everyone immediatly has the biggest smile on their faces as soon as Susan enters that stage. She is loved by so many and it's well deserved. 14 years ago they were laughing because they thought she is just anonther delusional candidate...now they are laughing because they are happy and delighted to see her. ❤

It's so wonderful how Ms. Boyle picks herself up and keeps going She deserves all the praise for doing just that She has my 100 per cent support... ALWAYS WILL!

wow for suffering a stroke, she looked and sang great. Always loved her voice.

Amazing to know Susan had four professional lessons a week just to learn to speak again, let alone all the practice done by herself and coaches to learn to sing again, for the last year. It wasn't "just" a minor stroke as she said humbly, her entire dream to get back on stage and singing was totally on the line. Congratulations Susan for the amazing work you put in. You sounded just beautiful as always ❤️ You could also see the love and supportive energy from all the cast of Les Mis too ( and they were amazing too!). I loved seeing how genuine their love for Susan is.

WHAT SHE DID WAS PRETTY MUCH MIRACLEOUS. TO KNOW THAT SHE SUFFERED A MAJOR STROKE AND TO HAVE TO COME BACK FROM THAT DAMAGE IS SO TELLING OF HER PUSHING HARD TO RECOVER. MY DAUGHTER HAS GRAN MAL SEIUZRES AND SHE LOOSES COGNITIVE PROCESSING WITH EVERY SIEZURE. SHE DOESN'T ALWAYS GET BACK WHAT SHE LOST. SO, I CAN SOMEWHAT RELATE TO SUSAN. A SWEET AND LOVELY LADY.

Susan has the purest voice I have ever heard.

It’s so hard to battle the physical effects of a stroke…fantastic that Susan is battling back! I’ll NEVER forget how Susan shocked the world..l cried when l heard her beautiful voice and the judges reaction.

14 years ago this woman stole everyones hearts and she has not given them back ever since. And I can't think of anyone who deserves this love more than Susan does. She became a star, she is so successful, but she didn't change one bit. She is still that humble, sweet, funny person she was when she first entered that stage 14 years ago. It saddened me to hear that had to go through so much last year but it only shows what a special human being she is. She didn't give up. She fought her way back on stage because this is what she loves the most and apperently (and luckily) nothing can keep her from doing what she loves. God bless this beautiful soul. ❤

I wish Susan well, but you know as well as I do that she has a terrible voice. Listen at 2:49 as the sound engineers struggle to find an on-key bit of her performance to fade-up to broadcast. If she looks younger now than when she originally appeared: it's because they deliberately styled her when she first walked out onto the BGT stage to look like a ridiculous, old cat-lady. Only an idíot would imagine that BGT doesn't have a massive wardrobe and make-up department. BGT decides how people look when they go on that stage. And they very deliberately made Susan look like a clown. The judges all ridiculed her. They rolled their eyes. They cut her off mid-sentence. Then they got their perfectly stage-managed moment when Susan revealed she was in fact a better-than-mediocre singer. And they hit the world's headlines. Completely contrived and exploitative.

I became emotional and cried as well seeing Susan again, looking SO LOVELY and stunned that she had suffered a stroke. Take care Sweet Susan, we all LOVE you.

I love seeing Simon at 4:51 saying, "You're welcome." I have to imagine that was in response to whatever Susan did/said. She really changed him as well.

This performance and her words made me cry.

Im still in awe of Susan. What incredible talent and her story is so moving. God bless her

She won in her own way. To have suffered a traumatic brain injury myself and could not speak, I know what it takes to get back to singing. The specialist who tested me said that I wouldn't regain my speaking voice, but with voice lessons starting at the age of 53 (I always wanted lessons but never could), I was speaking normally AND singing all types of songs after several years work. I applaud Susan for putting in the tremendous effort it took.

Su Bo had a stroke and had to have therapy to learn how to sing again. Amazing and fantastic that she is now able to sing again. Her first TV appearance is one of the most emotional I've ever seen. 14 years ago!!!

Susan is such a humble woman. I just love hearing her sing. My favorite performance after her audition is when she sang with Elaine Page. She was living her dream.

@@annabotham2401 yes that is true. Very professional. Only iffy part, was when Lucie (?) cut in front of SB. I found that odd but could very easily have been anything for any reason which I would hope was the reason. It is not normally performed the way they did it so who knows. It was a great tribute/comeback for Susan and what a talent Lucie has. The folks that saw it live saw something special for sure.

I think that was partly to help susan who has always had anxiety focus on not being scared by her return and to keep them in sync. Was very touching.

This was beautiful. So glad Susan fought back after her stroke. She is phenomenal and an inspiration. Lucie, beautiful performance with Susan.❤

Are you really - seriously - saying that Susan's voice is better than Lucie's. I mean, SERIOUSLY? (It wasn't even better before the stroke. As lovely as it was, the appeal of Boyle was her underdog status. She was never a great singer. She had a lovely voice. That's it.)
