Me too - she’s a sharp lass, held onto both rails just to make sure and the skip at the end makes you wish you were her.

If you like this kind of goosebump performances look up Flashmob in Nuremberg of Beethoven's Ode to Joy. I guarantee you'l love it and watch it more than once... I have saved it ion my Favorites sop I watch it as often as I have the time...

Can you imagine that booming voice coming at you on a narrow escalator? 😊👏

This is the kind of flash mob I like…the ones where you can tell all the people around weren’t expecting a flash mob in the middle of a public square to happen by giving them lots of empty space. When the flash mob is literally surrounded by non mobbers then you know it’s going to be a good one and not one that feels like any other performances…I hope that made sense🤔

I love how the actor singing Enjolras starts up the down-escalator, mimicking the revolving stage when it's performed, and the two-steps forward, two-steps back they do when this song is performed in the musical. Such a little thing, but it's a very clever piece of business when performing in a non-theatre venue like this.

@@jackienaiditch7965 me too! I saw the play in the '80s in the UK. It was so moving I cried my heart out and bought the CD! The rock singer that played Eponine was absolutely brilliant in that company. I'm really happy I bought the CD from them. Les Mis is very special message that most people can relate to.

I love how they brought in members of the crowd who knew the lyrics. Such a wholesome video!

That lady in the red coat I couldn't figure out if she was actually part of the group! I don't think she was, just really got into it. Imagine what she had to say when she got home. 'How was your day'?. 'Well ... '

i'm usually not moved by musicals, but i just love les miserables.

I love that-- after the first song, everyone's like, "that was great, moving on now" then suddenly-- "But wait, there's MORE!"

Is it asking too much to just once have this unfold in front of me? Sure, they’re singing in the market, and I’m in a queue, buying a ticket to the theatre . . .

Can't stop smiling but crying. Am 65 and these songs make me feel good the the singers make me feel great. Greetings from the Philippines!

The Mama and her baby, are just beautiful. Les Miserables makes me cry like a baby.

One of the male singers started his career with my ex-wife teaching him singing and i had the very great pleasure of having him sing beside me as the other tenor in the choir i was in at the time. Through hard work and constant practice, he has become a fine baritone and a wonderful husband and father to his family of about twenty boys (well that is an exaggeration, but he doesn't know how to produce girls as yet) Josh, you are a hero to me and hopefully remain a good friend for my remaining years, even though you live in Adelaide and I live in Coffs Harbour. I think the chances of the two of us singing "In the depths of the temple" have long gone but it would have been fun to try it!!!

Ah the human spirit will never be dampened. Congratulations everyone…fabulous.

Omg, hands down the best flash mob I’ve ever seen. Wonderful voices, brilliant interaction with the people at the market. I had tears dripping off my chin by the end!

AWESOME! One of the best flash mobs i ever saw online - wish I coulda been there! These songs are SOOOOO relevant now too, as humanity finally begins to demand and embody Freedom once and for all!😀💪👍

@@feanorian21maglor38 I live near Dallas now and I doubt they will ever come here... and going to the UK is out of the question, you'd have to be a millionaire to buy a roundtrip ticket to Europe these days.... Haven't seen my family there in over a decade because I cannot afford the $1500 it costs these days. Besides, it won't be as good ss the original with the original cast. I saw the remake on PBS and although not bad it wasn't as good sas the original with Colin Wilkinson and the original innkeeper....

HA HA HA!!! Yes, I was! These guys are my friends, and it's always a privilege to sing the music of Les Mis. Can't believe people are still watching this so many years later. Just goes to show how much people LOVE this story and the incredible music. 🙂

OMG, I love this video! I've seen some comments discussing the woman in the white hat and scarf and red jacket. Some people said she was part of the cast. I don't think so because she's not miked. However, I do think she may have been a member of the company, who just happened to be there at that time. She was greeted warmly by several members of the cast, she knew all the words and there was no reservation about joining into the flash mob. Just my opinion. And yes, I get choked up too every time I watch it.

Such an apt song for our present times!

More of this, and the world will be happier for it!

I can see this is an opera company; their voices are operatic. An excellent performance without a conductor. Every word was clear. I can see why these songs from Les Miz are so often performed and so performable.

I have watched a number of flash performances from Les Mis. This up there with some of the best and, a special bonus, it is taking place in one of my favorite places in the world. I love Adelaide market.
